Three 737-700s are en route from BFI today.
First is CSN240, which would be China Southern's next 737-71B, B-5240 (c/n 35368). The China Southern aircraft is parked by AirService. Sorry no photo available ...
Second, is BOE205, presumably a Boeing 737-700 ETOPS test flight ... airline unknown. (There is also a "green" 737 parked by the CO hangar, which I'm assuming is the BOE205 aircraft ... see below)
And third, is N364BJ (c/n 33987), which is another RAAF 737-7ES "Wedgetail" platform on its way Down Under.
* Update (21:48HST)... Upon further checking, it may be a safe conclusion that N364BJ is the BOE205 flight. I apologize for the error. BW707

I bet it will be Alaska Airlines because there are rumors that they will start service between SEA and HNL.
How does one become a "contributor" to this blog? is it possible? I've seen a lot of rare birds to report that aren't posted here and would like to add my 2 cents if possible.
Two weeks ago, the 1st 737-900ER passed through HNL on it's way to launch customer Lion Air of Indonesia. It was wearing a full "dreamliner" livery with the Lion Air logo on the tail. There are photos on the net of it at Boeing Field when it departed.
Aloha.
CSN240 is on the AirService ramp.
Lion's B739ER stopped in HNL or flew over? I heard from some that it flew from BFI-GUM. Did anyone actually see it at HNL?
I wonder if the B737-700 ETOPS flight will be in the full AS livery; that would be quite nice!
What I saw was a green aircraft (unpainted) parked by the CO hangar on the South Ramp, which I assume was the one with the Boeing flight number. The China Southern is parked at Air Service. The RAAF aircraft probably is over at Hickam.
j. you'll need to contact me via email 1st, and we'll proceed from there.
post updated ... sorry for the goof-up ...
Je89w, yeah, i saw the -900ER. It was on the ramp next to an Asia Pacific 727 for a short time. Saw them pushing back and by the time I came back to HNL, it was gone. Had a great dreamliner livery, white tail with Lion Air's logo. Too bad no one got any pics of it.
Speaking of rare birds, did anyone get a photo of the Republique Francaise A340 that was on the ramp on Mother's Day? Same thing for me. It was there, then it was gone.
Wow, never knew that. About what time did you see the -900ER pushing back?
Nice to have an extra set of eyes at HNL. Also missed the French A340. What time did you see it? Was the A340 on the North side or South side?
They were both around in the mid-afternoon if I recall. I'm usually in and out of HNL from about 1200-2000 or so.
The A340 was on the North cargo ramp. Looked just like this, http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1124874/L/ but I couldn't see the tail number. It was gone by the time I got back again.
Aloha.
