Air Tahiti Nui
During last's week Tsunami warning this Air Tahiti Nui flight THT77 (A340-313X, F-OLOV, msn 668) diverted to Honolulu from Narita due to a possibility of the Tsunami hitting Papeete. It remained overnight and departed early Sunday morning.
Wow! I was hoping someone got a pic of this truly rare bird. Aside from CI, I don't think anyone flies the A340 to Hawaii so it was a treat in that respect plus, I can't help but think that this was the first time in memory that HNL has ever seen Air Tahiti Nui metal! Thanks for the pic!

ReplyDeletePhilippine Airlines also flys in a A340 every Sat,Tues, and Thursday. IIRC, Air Tahiti has one scheduled flight to HNL every year.
