Westjet's Care-antee Logojet
Westjet's "Care-antee" 737-8CT, C-GWSZ (c/n 37092, l/n 3164) makes an appearance in HNL, and is seen climbing out of Runway 8L bound for YVR as WJA1863. This special livery is promoting Westjet's commitment to better customer service, Care-anteed!
Airline is one of only two Canadian companies to receive the award
CALGARY, Feb. 17 2011 /PRNewswire/ - WestJet announced today it has been named a J.D. Power 2011 Customer Service Champion by the prestigious global marketing information services company, J.D. Power and Associates.
As one of only 40 companies to be recognized, WestJet is among the top five per cent of 800 companies in 20 industries evaluated. The designation is based on customer feedback, opinions and perceptions gathered from J.D. Power studies conducted in 2010. American low-cost carriers JetBlue Airways and Southwest Airlines were also recognized in the airline category. Other companies on the list include Cadillac, Eddie Bauer, Four Seasons, Jaguar, Lexus, Lincoln, Mercedes-Benz, T-Mobile and U.S. Cellular.
WestJet and Four Seasons are the only Canadian companies on the list.
Better customer service?
ReplyDeleteWestJet is usually ranked #2 or #3 for customer service for ALL business, (not just airlines), in Canada.
Its major competitor has often polled below Revenue Canada, (the equivilent of the IRS....).
The Careentee program draws attention to the fact that what WJ does for free costs extra at all the other airlines in Canada.
