C-FPHS

C-FPHS (c/n 24970, l/n 1977), a 737-53A owned by Skyservice Business Aviation, is making a stop at HNL.

24970's History:
Jun 1992: Delivered to the TAG Group as N778YY, leased from Ansett Worldwide.
Sep 1993: Re-registered as VR-BOC, and repainted.
May 1997: Re-registered as VP-BOC.
Feb 2000: Sold to Amcur Investments Nao as P4-FZT.
Aug 2004: Acquired by Pacific Sky Aviation as P4-PHS.
Nov 2007: Re-registered as C-FPHS.
Feb 2016: Acquired by Skyservice Business Aviation.

Sriwijaya Air's PK-CLC Crash

Sriwijaya Air's 737-524, PK-CLC "Citra" (c/n 27323, l/n 2616), crashed several minutes after takeoff from CGK. The 737, flying as SJY182 [CGK-PNK], plunged from over 10,000' to the ocean. All 62 souls aboard perished in the crash.

PK-CLC was a 26-year-old originally delivered to Continental Airlines as N27610. In April 2012, N27610 ferried through HNL on its way to CGK to join the Sriwijaya fleet.

ANA's JA353K

ANA WIngs, an All Nippon Airways subsidiary, is ferrying JA353K (c/n 26104, l/n 2552) from ITM to MZJ (via HND, GUM, MAJ, and HNL) as ANA9434. The ITM-HND leg was flown with an ANA Wings flight code as AKX5564. The HNL-MZJ leg is scheduled to make a pre-dawn departure.

26104 was originally delivered in December 1993, to Rio Sul [SL/RSL], under lease from GECAS, as PT-SLS. In March 2001, ANA acquired it for its Air Nippon subsidiary as JA353K. Five years later, it was re-assigned to their Air Next subsidiary. In October 2010, it was transferred to ANA Wings.

Nam Air's 737-524s

Nam Air, a subsidiary of Sriwijaya Air (Indonesia) is taking delivery of a pair of former United Airlines' 737-524s. N16632 (c/n 27900, l/n 2736) and N17627 (c/n 27531, l/n 2700) made stops through JRF and HNL respectively.

N17627 stopped through HNL on the 12th from GYR, and left for MAJ on and 13th. It was originally delivered to Continental Airlines in April 1995 (f/n 627) under lease from GECAS. It continued with United Airlines after the merger (f/n 0627), and was returned to GECAS in May 2013.

N16632 has stopped at JRF, it arrived from GYR on the 13th, and was scheduled to leave for MAJ today, but has yet to depart. It was originally delivered to Continental Airlines in July 1995 (f/n 632), and integrated into the United Airlines fleet (f/n 0632) in October 2010 when the carriers merged. It was withdrawn from the United fleet this past May.

N59630

N59630 (c/n 27534, l/n 2726) is making a stop through JRF, as it makes its ferry flight from GYR to CGK, to join the Sriwijaya Air fleet.

N59630 was originally delivered to Continental Airlines (f/n 630) in May 1995 under lease from GECAS. It was transferred to the United Airlines fleet after the 2010 merger was completed (f/n 0630). It was withdrawn from the United fleet in May 2013.

N62631

Here's an interesting one ... a JRF RareBird!

A former United Airlines 737-524, N62631 (c/n 27535, l/n 2728, f/n 0631), is made an overnight stop at JRF, instead of HNL. FlightAware shows that the 737, bound for Sriwijaya Airlines, arrived from ONT last evening, and departs for TRW (Bonriki International Airport, Tarawa, Republic of Kiribati) this morning. The ferry flight originated in GYR, and will terminate at CGK (via ONT, JRF, TRW, and BIK).

N62631 was originally delivered to Continental Airlines with the f/n 631, in June 1995. Blended Winglets were installed in December 2008. It was withdrawn from service in May 2013.

N18622

Another former United Airlines 737-524, N18622 (c/n 27526, l/n 2669), is making its way toward Indonesia to join the Sriwijaya Air fleet.

N18622 was originally delivered to Continental Airlines in December 1994, and assigned the fleet number 622. In 2008, N18622 had Blended Winglets™ installed. When Continental merged with United in 2010, N18622 was transferred in with a new fleet number, 0622.

N19621

Another former United Airlines 737-524, N19621 (c/n 27334, l/n 2661, f/n 0621), is making its way to Indonesia to join the Sriwijaya Airlines fleet, under lease from Well Fargo Bank Northwest. It arrived from MCC yesterday, and was scheduled to depart today for MAJ.

N13624

Another former United Airlines 737-524 is making its way to Indonesia to join the Sriwijaya Air fleet. N13624 (c/n 27528, l/n 2675, f/n 0624), owned by GECAS, is making its delivery flight from IAH to CGK (via SAT, MCC, HNL, MAJ, and BIK). It arrived last evening, and is scheduled to depart in a few hours of this posting.

N13624 was originally delivered to Continental Airlines in February 1995.

N14604

A former United Airlines 737-524, N14604 (c/n 27317, l/n 2576), is making its way to CGK, from SAT (via MCC, HNL, MAJ, and BIK) to join the Sriwijaya Air fleet.

It was originally delivered to Continental Airlines in February 1994, and transferred to United after the mega-merger.

N16617

Another former United Airlines 737-524, N16617 (c/n 27330, l/n 2648), is making its way to Indonesia to join the Sriwijaya Air fleet under lease from GECAS. The ferry flight originated from HOU, and made stops at SAT and MCC, before crossed the Pacific yesterday. It will continue onto to MAJ, and BIK, before arriving at CGK. N16617 is seen above on Taxiway C, earlier this morning, as it taxies out for departure to MAJ.

N17614

Another former United Airlines 737-524 is being ferried to Indonesia to join the Sriwijaya Air fleet. N17614 (c/n 27327, l/n 2634) is being flown from IAH to SZB (via SAT, LAX, HNL, MAJ, and BIK). Its stop at HNL lasted only a few hours for fuel.

ANA Wings' JA352K

Another former ANA Wings 737-5Y0, JA352K (c/n 26097, l/n 2534), is making its way to MZJ from HND (via GUM, MAJ, and HNL). It's flying as ANA9432, and it arrived at HNL last evening, and departed for the Arizona storage facility early this morning. Sorry, we were unable to get a photo of JA352K at HNL.

26097 was originally purchased by GECAS, and delivered to Rio Sul [SL/RSL] in October 1993 as PT-SLP. The ANA Group was the next lessee, in August 2000. It saw stints with Air Nippon, Air Next, and ANA Wings.

N14613

N14613 (c/n 27326, l/n 2633), a former United Airlines 737-524, is making its way from SAT to CGK today. It was sold to Wells Fargo Bank Northwest, and will be leased to Sriwijaya Air. It will make a brief fuel stop at HNL from its segment from LAX, before it continues onto MAJ.

N14613 was delivered to Continental Airlines in July 1994, as f/n 613 . It had Aviation Partners Blended Winglets installed in July 2008, and was transferred into the United fleet after the merger as f/n 0613.

N17620

A former United Airlines 737-524, N17620 (c/n 27333, l/n 2660, UAL f/n 0260), is making its way from EWR to CGK, destined for the Sriwijaya Airlines [SJ/SJY] fleet. It began its journey on May 9th, and has made stops at MSY, IAH, OAK, LIH, and HNL so far. This 737-524 has been fitted with Aviation Partners Boeing Blended Winglets (in September 2009). It arrived at HNL this afternoon from LIH.

This 737-524 is seen above on HNL's South Ramp, with its United titles and most of the tail logo painted over, the next morning, awaiting its next leg to MAJ.

N17620 was originally delivered to Continental Airlines in February 1995, under lease from GECAS. It continued on with United Airlines following the merger of the two carriers. It was returned to GECAS two weeks ago, and now headed to Indonesia, its the second of a dozen 737-500s bound to replace Sriwijaya's 737-200s.

N17620 departed for MAJ this morning, but returned to HNL after reaching waypoint MCFLY, due to a maintenance issue.

N27610

N27610 (c/n 27323, l/n 2616, f/n 0610), a former United Airlines 737-524, is making its way toward somewhere in Asia from HOU (via OAK, HNL, ...).

It was originally delivered to Continental Airlines in May 1994 under lease from GECAS, and had UAL titles replacing the COA following the merger between the two carriers in October 2010.

N27610's final destination of this ferry flight was to CGK. It's the first of a dozen 737-524s that GECAS is leasing Sriwijaya Airlines, and will become PK-CLC "Citra".

ANA Wings' JA355K

JA355K (c/n 28129, l/n 2823), an ANA Wings [EH/AKX "Alpha Wing"] 737-5L9, is ferrying from HND to MZJ. It's flying as ANA9432, and made stops at GUM, MAJ, and HNL; which left the latter early this morning (photo above).

ANA Wings is a regional carrier in the All Nippon Airways system, whose fleet comprises of 737-54Ks, Dash8-Q315s, and Dash8-Q402s.

28129 was originally delivered to Maersk Air in October 1996 as OY-APC. ANA acquired the 737-5L9 in June 2001, registered it as JA355K, and assigned it to their Air Nippon [EL/ANK] subsidiary. It then went to their Air Next [7A/NXA "Blue Dolphin"] subsidiary in December 2007. It was recently transferred to the ANA Wings subsidiary, and is now being ferried to the Arizona desert.
