Wyoming Cowboys Team Charter

The Wyoming Cowboys are chartering an Omni Air International 767-200 for their road game to play the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors on Saturday. N207AX "Kiani" (c/n 30438, l/n 845, f/n 207) is flying the Cowboys from DEN as OAE3106.

Japan Airlines Celebrates 40 Years Of 767 Service

This month, Japan Airlines celebrates 40 years of 767 service. Their first 767, JA8232 (c/n 23213, l/n 118), a 767-246, was delivered in August 1985, and entered service in November 1985. It was one of three 767-246s. Japan Airlines also has 27 767-346ERs currently active in their fleet. The airline has one 767-346ER flight from NRT to HNL, JAL784/783.

Omni Air International's N207AX Ground Collision

Omni Air International's N207AX "Kiani" (c/n 30438, l/n 845, f/n 207) was involved in collision with ground equipment. This 767-224ER's port side leading edge, near the wingtip, was struck by a stair truck from Signature Flight Support yesterday. N207AX was flying a charter for the State of Hawai‘i as OAE3709 from IWA, via ITO.

Sister-ship N225AX (c/n 30434, l/n 833, f/n 225) arrived from AFW last night as OAE3762 as a fleet substitution to complete the OAE3709 charter flight to IWA.

Following inspections and repairs, N207AX departed for AFW as OAE3106.

Fresno State Bulldogs' Team Charter

The Fresno State Bulldogs football team is chartering an Omni Air International 767-200ER for their road game against the Hawai‘i Rainbow Warriors on Saturday. N207AX "Kiani" (c/n 30438, l/n 845), a 767-224ER, is flying the Bulldogs from FAT to HNL as OAE3161. The team is scheduled to return to FAT following the game.


20 September 2025 UPDATE
The Bulldogs will return to FAT tonight aboard N207AX, as OAE3161, following their 23-21 win.

N743AX

N743AX (c/n 22218, l/n 31), a 767-232F owned by Cargo Aircraft Management, is making a flight from SFB to SZB, via HNL and GUM. This white-tail 767 will make an overnight stop at HNL tonight. It's going to be leased to Raya Airways.

22218's History:
Dec 1982: Delivered to Delta Air Lines as N106DA (f/n 106).
___ 2005: Painted in the 2000 livery.
Apr 2007: Sold to ABX Air, re-registered as N743AX (f/n 743), and converted to a freighter.
Jly 2010: Sold to Cargo Aircraft Management, and leased to AmeriJet.
Apr 2022: Withdrawn from service, and stored at SNN.
May 2023: Ferried to ILN for storage.
Oct 2024: Ferried to SFB for storage.
Jan 2025: Ferried to DHN for pre to new lessee.

N743AX departed GUM for SZB today.

North Carolina Tar Heels Team Charter

The tenth-ranked North Carolina Tar Heels basketball team is chartering an Omni Air International 767-224ER for their game on Friday against the Hawai‘i Rainbow Warriors. N234AX (c/n 30436, l/n 833) is bringing the Tar Heels here from RDU as OAE2220. They will stay in Hawai‘i, as they are participating in  the Maui Invitational tournament in Lāhaina, Maui, beginning on the 25th.


21 November 2024 UPDATE
N234AX returned to its base at AFW as OAE2220 after dropping off the Tar Heels.

UNLV Rebels Team Charter

The UNLV Rebels football team is chartering an Omni Air International 767-224ER today, for their road trip to play the Hawai‘i Rainbow Warriors on Saturday. N234AX (c/n 30436, l/n 833) is making the flight from LAS to HNL as OAE2179. The Rebels will return to LAS following the game.

The Boise State Broncos football team is chartering an Omni Air International 767-224ER for their road trip to play the Hawai‘i Rainbow Warriors on Saturday. N234AX (c/n 30436, l/n 833) is making the flight as OAE2070.

The Broncos will return to BOI following the game.

V8-MHB (c/n 25537, l/n 517), the VIP 767-27GER of the Brunei Government, is making a brief fuel stop at HNL from PHL. This Royal Brunei-liveried 767 is returning to BWN [Bandar Seri Begawan Airport, Brunei].

Colorado State Rams Team Charter

The Colorado State Rams football team is chartering an Omni Air International 767-200ER for their road trip to Honolulu to play the Hawai‘i Rainbow Warriors on Saturday evening. N234AX (c/n 30436, l/n 833), a 767-224ER, is flying the Rams as OAE675 from DEN.

The team will return to DEN following the game. N234AX is expected to stay, and take the team home.

The Sultanate of Brunei Government's 767-27GER, V8-MHB (c/n 25537, l/n 517), made a fuel stop at HNL today. The flight information is unknown, but was tracked departing westward out of HNL.

Raya Airways' N769AX

Cargo Aircraft Management is ferrying N769AX (c/n 22787, l/n 58) from ILN to SZB, via HNL and GUM. This 767-281F will join the Raya Airways fleet as 9M-RXD.

Jun 1983: Delivered to All Nippon Airways as JA8481.
Mar 1998: Acquired by Airborne Express as N769AX (f/n 769), and converted to a freighter.
Aug 2003: Airline re-brands as ABX Air.
Oct 2010: Acquired by Cargo Aircraft Management, and leased back.
May 2006: Painted in the DHL livery, and operated by ABX Air.
Apr 2017: Leased to DHL International Aviation [Qatar] as A9C-DHM.
Nov 2022: Returned to Cargo Aircraft Management, and repainted for lease to Raya Airways.

N769AX was towed to Taxiway R6 the day before, and left for GUM this afternoon.

University of Nevada's Team Charter

The University of Nevada Wolf Pack football team is chartering an Omni Air International 767-200 for its road trip to face the University of Hawai‘i Rainbow Warriors on Saturday. N234AX (c/n 30436, l/n 833), a 767-224ER, flying as OAE9268, is being used for the charter, and will remain at HNL to take the team back to RNO following the game.

The Western Kentucky University Hilltoppers football team chartered an Omni Air International 767-200 for their road trip to play the University of Hawai‘i Rainbow Warriors. The team flew from BNA to HNL as OAE9234, and will return to BNA after the game under the same flight number.

Making an appearance in Honolulu was one of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force's E-767-27CER. 74-3503 (msn 28016, l/n 618). It belongs to the 602nd Airborne Early Warning Squadron out of Hamamatsu Airbase, Shizuoka Japan.

N767MW (c/n 22694, l/n 32), a 767-277, owned by MLW Aviation [Dallas, TX] and operated by Atlas Air, is making a stop at HNL from DAL, as GTI7852.

N712AX

N712AX (c/n 23307, l/n 126), a former Asian Air 767-2J6ER, has stopped off at HNL from UTP [U-Tapao International Airport, Ban Chang, Thailand], as it ferries to ILN [WIlmington Air Park / Airport, Wilmington, OH].

23307 was originally delivered to CAAC-Civil Aviation Administration of China in October 1985 as B-2551. Three years later, CAAC changed its name to Air China. In August 2007, it was sold to ABX Air, and registered as N712AX. In May 2009, it was acquired by Sky King. Two years later, it was went to Air Transport International. In December 2011, went to Dynamic Airways, but withdrawn from use three months later. In January 2014, it was sold to Asian Air as HS-DCM, and was placed into storage two years later. In November 2016, Cargo Aircraft Management acquired 23307, and its registration reverted back to N712AX, and will probably be converted to a freighter.

Dynamic Airways N253MY

Arriving this morning, was a Dynamic Airways 767-23BER direct from JFK as DYA9001. Dynamic Airways operates a fleet of 4 767-200s and 1 767-300 on their New York (JFK-KJFK)-Georgetown (GEO/SYCJ), Guyana route and between Ft. Lauderdale (FLL/KFLL)-Maiquetia (CCS/SVMI), Venezuela.

N253MY (c/n 23974, l/n 214) first flew with Air Mauritius in April, 1988 as 3B-NAL. It flew with Air Mauritius until March, 2007 where it was acquired by KMW leasing and leased to MAXjet with the current registration. Within the same month that it was leased to MAXjet, the company ceased operations. N253MY then went to Air Italy as I-AIGI in July, 2008 and flew with the airline until February 2013. The airframe was then returned to KMW Leasing with its US registration and placed into storage until Dynamic Airways leased it in May, 2014.

N673BF (c/n 23402, l/n 133), a 767-238ER, owned by Polaris Aviation Solutions was chartered by, reportedly, a Saudi prince, and has stopped off at HNL.
