N355FL (msn 2553), an A321-231F owned by an undisclosed Bank of Utah trustee, is being ferried from XMN to MZJ, with stops at GUM and JRF. This white-tail A321's stop at JRF is this evening.

Sep 2005: Delivered to TACA International Airlines as N566TA, under lease from RBS.
Jun 2012: Sold to SMBC, and the lease was transferred.
May 2013: Airline rebranded as Avianca El Salvador.
Mar 2014: Leased to Monarch Airlines as G-ZBAI.
Nov 2016: Sold to Castlelake, and the lease was transferred.
Mar 2018: Leased to Aegean Airlines as SX-DNF.
May 2023: Returned to Castlelake as LY-BLW, and stored at TEV.
Sep 2023: Acquired by Flight Lease.
Mar 2024: Ferried to XMN for freighter conversion, registered as N355FL.
Nov 2024: Acquired by a Bank of Utah trustee.

Viva's OE-IAF

Avolon is delivering OE-IAF (msn 7403) to Viva. This A321-231 is making its delivery flight from HKG to MTY, with brief fuel stops at GUM, MAJ, and HNL. It will receive its Mexican registration after delivery.

Nov 2016: Delivered to Hong Kong Express as B-LEB, under lease from CIT Aerospace.
Apr 2017: Acquired by Avolon, and the lease transferred.
Sep 2020: Ferried to ASP for storage.
Oct 2022: Ferried to HKG for storage.
Jan 2023: Returned to service.
Aug 2025: Withdrawn from service, and prepped for lease to Viva at HKG.
Nov 2025: Re-registered as OE-IAF.

This A321 is now registered as XA-VCF.

GA Telesis is having N657NK (msn 6672) ferried from GYR to HAN, via HNL, MAJ, and GUM. This A321-231 is making an overnight stop at HNL tonight. It was purchased by Vietravel Airlines as VN-A129.

6672's History:
Jly 2015: Delivered to Spirit Airlines as N657NK (f/n 657).
__ 2020: Fleet number changed to 5657.
Oct 2024: Withdrawn from service, and ferried to GYR for storage.
Dec 2024: Acquired by GA Telesis.
Jun 2025: Acquired by Vietravel Airlines.

N260FP (msn 1642), an A321-232, owned by Spectre Air Capital, is making a stop at HNL from MZJ, via LGB today. It's bound for XMN to undergo freighter conversion.

1642's History:
Dec 2001: Delivered to Scandinavian Air System as OY-KBB "Hjörjuf Viking".
May 2023: Withdrawn from service, and stored at MZJ.
Mar 2024: Acquired by Spectre Air Capital as N260FP.

GlobalX Cargo's N636WT

GlobalX Airlines Cargo is taking delivery of N636WT (msn 1636). This A321-231F, leased from Spectre Air Capital, is flying from XMN to MZJ, via GUM, MAJ, and JRF. It will make an overnight stop at JRF tonight. It will go to Spectre Air Capital prior to delivery to GlobalX Airlines.

N636WT departed from XMN on 11 November for GUM. There were two attempts to depart GUM for MAJ, on 19 November and 28 November, and both returned to GUM.

Nexus Aviation Ventures' N919NX (msn 2919) is making its way back to TUS from XMN after it completed its freighter conversion. This A321-231F is making stops at GUM, MAJ, and HNL along the way. N919NX stopped through HNL in August 2023 on its ferry flight to XMN.

ST Aerospace Resources is having D-AADS (msn 1763), ferried from CAN to SAT, via CRK, GUM, MAJ, HNL, and PHX. It arrived last night with an overnight stop at HNL. No information is known as to who this white-tail A321-231P2F will be leased or sold to.

Nov 2012: Painted in the 2012 Monarch livery.

Raya Airways' N982CM

Nomadic Aviation is ferrying N982CM (msn 1972) from TPA to SZB, via PHX, JRF, MAJ, and GUM, for Raya Airways. This A321-211F, owned by Cargo Aircraft Management, is flying as OMD270, and is making an overnight stop at JRF. It's due to be registered as 9M-BZB. 

Because this A321 was not taken up by ASL Airlines Ireland, a DHL partner, it may be the reason for the base livery for DHL. Raya's other A321, 9M-BZA has this same livery. Raya's Boeing fleet has the red and blue livery.

Interjet's VP-BJN

VP-BJN (msn 7348), a former Interjet A321-211, is ferrying from VCV to SIN, via HNL and GUM. This A321 is owned by the BOC Aviation, and the third of three leased to Interjet ferried to SIN.

7348 was delivered to Interjet in October 2016 as XA-AJB, leased from BOC Aviation. It flew with Interjet until the end of March, and stored at VCV in April, due to the downturn in air travel from the China Corona Virus.

Interjet's VP-BJT

VP-BJT (msn 7358), a former Interjet A321-211 leased from BOC is ferrying from VCV to SIN, via HNL and GUM, similar to sister-ship VP-BJK. It delivered to Interjet in October 2016 as XA-GEO, and was returned to BOC in March 2020.

Interjet's VP-BJK

VP-BJK (msn 7311), a former Interjet A321-211, is ferrying from VCV to SIN, via HNL, and GUM. It's making an overnight stop at HNL. The former XA-JPB, is an A321 is owned by BOC, and was leased to Interjet in autumn 2016, and returned in March 2020.

OE-IAI

OE-IAI (msn 1356), a former Asiana Airlines A321-131, is ferrying from ICN (via CRK, GUM, and HNL) to SBD. It's on a lease return flight to lessor Avalon, and making an overnight stop at HNL. It will leave for SBD later today.

1356 was originally delivered to Asiana Airlines in November 2000 as HL7594, under lease from CIT. In April 2017, it was sold to Avolon, and the lease transferred. It flew with Asiana until May 2020.

OE-IAI departed HNL this afternoon, but returned after a mechanical issue.

V Air's N805AV

Avianca [AV/AVA] (Colombia) is taking delivery of N805AV (msn 6009), leased from Wells Fargo Bank Northwest. This A321-231SL, still in the V Air livery, is making its delivery flight from TPE [Taipei, Taiwan] to TUS [Tucson, AZ], with stops at GUM, HNL, where it will get the Avianca livery and interior configuration.

6009 was originally delivered to TransAsia Airways [GE/TNA] (Taiwan) in March 2014 as B-22608. It was leased to V Air [ZV/VAX] (Taiwan), TransAsia's low-cost subsidiary from October 2014 to October 2016 as B-22610. This A321 remained in the above V Air livery after the airline shutdown. However, TransAsia also shutdown in November 2016. The airframe was acquired by WFBN, and stored at TPE.

TransAsia Airways' N810AV

Avianca [AV/AVA] (Colombia) is taking delivery of N810AV (msn 6294), leased from Wells Fargo Bank Northwest. This A321-231SL, still in the TransAsia Airways livery, is making its delivery flight from TPE [Taipei, Taiwan] to TUS [Tucson, AZ], with stops at GUM, HNL, where it will get the Avianca livery and interior configuration.

6294 was originally delivered to TransAsia Airways [GE/TNA] (Taiwan) in September 2014 as B-22610. It was leased to V Air [ZV/VAX] (Taiwan), TransAsia's low-cost subsidiary from June 2015 to October 2016 as B-22610. This A321 was returned to its parent company in full livery after V Air shutdown. However, TransAsia also shutdown in November 2016. The airframe was acquired by WFBN, and stored at TPE.

HANG F-22As Scramble To Escort AAL31


A pair of F-22A Raptors from the Hawaii‘i Air National Guard's 199th Fighter Squadron were scrambled to escort an American Airlines A321 arriving from LAX. N126AN (msn 6313), flying as AAL31, was subject to an attempted cockpit breach by a passenger, who was prevented then restrained by passengers and crew. An in-flight emergency was reported by the flight crew, and the FAA requested the HANG escort. The flight landed on Runway 4R without incident, while first responders readied to enter the airliner, which parked on the North Ramp. Crews from the HNL ARFF, Hawaii State Sheriff deputies, Honolulu Police, the FBI, and Homeland Security are investigating the incident.

American Airlines Airbus A321 Service To OGG

American recently introduced the A321 between OGG and LAX, replacing the 752's.

Particularly interesting was their choice of registration for the aircraft seen today departing for LAX as AAL254. N125AA was previously worn by an American Airlines DC-10-10 and the registration was retained when the aircraft operated for Hawaiian Airlines.
