China Eastern A340-642 B-6050

As mentioned previously, China Eastern has retired all of their A340-313Xs, and will be using their A340-642s until May 15.  B-6050 operated CES571/572 on May 1. I was lucky enough to be sitting on the correct side of the aircraft to catch B-6050 arriving just before we pushed back for our departure.

For their PVG-HNL service today, China Eastern Airlines substituted their SkyTeam A340-642 logojet, B-6053 (msn 577), in place of their normal A340-343s.

Here are a couple more shots of Lufthansa's D-AIHF while parked at Gate 25.

Lufthansa DLH2572

Lufthansa (LH/DLH) is bringing in a charter flight from MUC (Munich International, Germany) as DLH2572. The flight is being operated with an A340-600, D-AIHF (msn 543). It will return to MUC as DLH2573.

DLH2572 coursed 6,991 nautical miles, and took 14 hours and 48 minutes to get from MUC to HNL.
