US Air Force's 21-9045

The US Air Force's newest E-11B, 21-9045 (msn 60045), is making a stop at HIK from WRB, flying as BACN05. This military version of a Bombardier Global 6500, was modified by Northrop Grumman to become a Battlefield Airborne Communications Node (BACN) aircraft. This E-11B assigned to the 430th Expeditionary Electronics Communications Squadron, based at Warner-Robbins AFB, GA.

N117AA Assisting In Inter-Island Medevac Flights

Corsair Two's Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604, N117AA (msn 5060), operated by Aero Air, is assisting in inter-island medevac flights during Hawai‘i Life Flight's safety stand-down following the loss of N13GZ and her crew. Aero Air's operation is part of Governor Josh Green's emergency proclamation.

N117AA has been a frequent visitor to HNL as a private charter jet in the past, as seen in this 2017 photo as it sat on the Castle & Cooke Aviation ramp.

C-FFDO

Bombardier's CS300 Flight Test Vehicle 8, C-FFDO, is back at HNL from a non-stop flight from HND, and due to return to the mainland. While in Asia, it stopped at ZUH and HND.

Bombardier's CS300, C-FFDO (msn 55002) made an overnight stop at HNL, after arriving from ICT (via DEN). "Flight Test Vehicle 8", wearing Air Baltic titles, and one of two test aircraft, departed today for an unknown destination.
