Lāna‘i Air Launches MKK Service

Lāna‘i Air launched daily C408 SkyCourier service between HNL and MKK today. The first flight, STT540/541 was flown by N971LA early this morning. Lāna‘i Air has four scheduled flights round-trip flights between HNL and MKK per day.

Lāna‘i Airʻs N974LA

Lāna‘i Air is taking delivery of N974LA (msn 408-0051). This C408 SkyCourier is making its delivery flight from BOI to HNL with stops at VGT and SMX. It will be Lāna‘i Airʻs third passenger model of the SkyCourier.

Lāna‘i Air Plans Expansion To MKK

According to a report by Hawai‘i Public Radio, Lāna‘i Air is planning to expand service to MKK from HNL with their Cessna C408 Sky Couriers, pending government approvals. The airline would become the second airline, next to Mokulele Airlines, to serve MKK from HNL.

Lāna‘i Air's N973LA

Lāna‘i Air is taking delivery of N973LA (msn 408-0050). This Cessna C408 SkyCourier is making its delivery flight from VGT to HNL, with a stop at SMX, as STT973. The original flight plan to Hawai‘i was listed as SMX to OGG, but made it to HNL instead.

Lāna‘i Air's N975LA

Lāna‘i Air is taking delivery of N975LA (msn 408-0056) today. This C408F SkyCourier is making its delivery flight from VGT to HNL, via SMX. Itʻs Lāna‘i Air's third C408, and its second freighter variant.

Lānaʻi Air's N972LA

Lānaʻi Air is taking delivery of their first C408F SkyCourier freighter, N972LA (msn 408-0019). The airline is making its first foray into the inter-island cargo market, and is the second carrier to have the SkyCourier freighter here at HNL. It arrived from CMA after midnight as N972LA.

N972LA made its initial delivery flight to parent company Western Aircraft, on 31 August, as STT972, flying from BEC to BOI, via RKS. After several weeks of test flights, it flew from BOI to VGT for the installation of the ferry tank system. This is the first of two SkyCourier freighters for Lānaʻi Air.

Lāna‘i Air To File For Scheduled Service

Lāna‘i Air's parent company Pulama Lāna‘i and operator Western Aircraft, filed an application with the US DOT to fly scheduled commuter service between HNL and LNY. The charter company will dedicate two of their PC-12 fleet (N92NG and N439CM) for this proposed service.

Lāna‘i Air is adding a fourth PC-12 to their fleet today. N699LA (msn 1734) joined the fleet today, after ferrying from MMV.

Lāna‘i Air Adds N399LA

Lāna‘i Air has added N399LA (msn 1884) to their fleet. This PC-12, leased from TVPX Aircraft Solutions, was delivered today from MMV as SXA586.
