Batik Air Malaysia's 9M-LRP

Today, Batik Air Malaysia is taking delivery of their second 737-8 in five days. 9M-LRP (c/n 43014, l/n 7704) is making its delivery flight from BFI as MXD2, and will overnight here before continuing onto GUM, then KUL. This 737-8 was transferred from Lion Air, and has "Operated by Batik Air" titles under the Lion word mark.

Batik Air Malaysia is taking delivery of 9M-LRM (c/n 43010, l/n 7576) today. This Lion Air-liveried 737-8 is making its delivery flight from BFI to KUL, via HNL and GUM, as MXD1, and will overnight at HNL. 

Batik Air Malaysia's 9M-LRL

Batik Air Malaysia is taking delivery of 9M-LRL (c/n 43012, l/n 7655) today. This 737-8, in the Lion Air livery, is making its delivery flight from BFI to KUL, via HNL and GUM, as MXD1. It was originally intended for Lion Air, but was transferred to its sister-airline Batik Air Malaysia.

Baitk Air’s VP-CJU

Nomadic Aviation is ferrying Batik Air’s VP-CJU (msn 7392) from CGK to MLB as OMD551. This A320-214 is making stops at GUM, HNL, and PHX. Tonight’s stop at HNL is only a brief fuel stop. It’s being returned to Aviation Capital Group, to be leased to Avianca.

Dec 2016: Delivered to Batik Air as PK-LUL, under lease from ACG.

Jan 2021: Withdrawn from service, and stored at CGK.

Batik Air’s VP-CJB

Nomadic Aviation is ferrying a pair Batik Air’s A320-214s from ASP to MLB, via BNE, MAJ, HNL, and PHX. The first of the A320s is VP-CJB (msn 6280), flying as OMD550, and is being returned to the Aviation Capital Group. It’s making an overnight stop at HNL tonight.

6280’s History:

Oct 2014: Delivered to Batik Air as PK-LAG, under lease from Jackson Square Aviation.

Dec 2016: Acquired by ACG, and lease transferred.

Jun 2021: Withdrawn from service, and stored at CGK.

Oct 2021: Ferried to ASP for long-term storage.

Batik Air's VP-CFT

Castlelake is having a former Batik Air 737-9GPER ferry from CGK to SBD, via GUM and HNL, as it will join the Delta Air Lines fleet. VP-CFT (c/n 38731,  l/n 4463) will overnight at HNL.

38731's History:

May 2013: Delivered to Batik Air as PK-LBO.

Jun 2021: Withdrawn from service, and stored at CGK.

Dec 2021: Sold to Castlelake as VP-CFT, and will be leased to Delta Air Lines as N947DC.

Batik Air's VP-CFH

Another Batik Air 737-9GPER, VP-CFH (c/n 38689, l/n 4441), is being ferried from CGK to SBD (via GUM and HNL) by Castlelake for its lease to Delta Air Lines. It will be registered as N942DC.

May 2013: Delivered to Batik Air as PK-LBM.

Jun 2021: Withdrawn from service, and stored at CGK.

Dec 2021: Acquired by Castlelake, and ferried to SBD, and leased to Delta Air Lines.

Batik Air's VP-CIC

Castlelake is having another Batik Air 737-9GPER ferried from CGK to SBD, via GUM and HNL. VP-CIC (c/n 38742, l/n 4726) is making its ferry flight to join the Delta Air Lines fleet. It arrived this morning at HNL.

Dec 2013: Delivered to Batik Air as PK-LBJ.

Jun 2021: Withdrawn from service, and stored at CGK.

Nov 2021: Acquired by Castlelake, ferried to SBD for lease to Delta Air Lines as N953DC.

Lion Air's VP-CEK

Castlelake is having another of Lion Air's 737-9GPERs ferried from CGK to SBD, via GUM and HNL. VP-CEK (c/n 38302, l/n 3573) is the next aircraft to join the Delta Air Lines fleet.

Sep 2011: Delivered to Lion Air as PK-LHW, under lease from CMIG Aviation Leasing.

Sep 2015: Sold to Aircastle, and lease transferred.

Jun 2017: Sold to Castlelake, and lease transferred.

Nov 2020: Withdrawn from service, and stored at BTH.

Jun 2021: Ferried to CGK for storage.

Lion Air's VP-CFY

Lion Air's VP-CFY (c/n 38741, l/n 4679) is ferrying from CGK to SBD, via GUM and HNL. This 737-9GPER, ferried by 6West (for Castlelake), is making its overnight stop at HNL tonight.

Nov 2013: Originally delivered to Lion Air as PK-LOF, and has the 100th 737NG special livery.

Oct 2021: Withdrawn from service, acquired by Castlelake, and registered as VP-CFY.

05 Nov 2021 UPDATE

VP-CFY was moved to Hardstand 188A, as it has an undisclosed maintenance issue. Its next leg to SBD is on hold indefinitely.

This 737-9GPER was towed back to the AirService Hawaii ramp for repairs.

Lion Air's VP-CIN

Castlelake is ferrying VP-CIN (c/n 39824, l/n 5088) from CGK to SBD, via GUM and HNL for this 737-9GPER to join the Delta Air Lines fleet. It arrived early this morning, and will overnight before continuing on.

Sep 2014: Originally delivered to Thai Lion Air as HS-LTO.

Apr 2020: Transfered to Lion Air as PK-LSQ.

Dec 2020: Withdrawn from service, and stored at CGK.

Oct 2021: Acquired by Castlelake as VP-CIN.

Lion Air's VP-CEQ

Castlelake is having Lion Air's VP-CEQ (c/n 38315, l/n 3954) ferried from CGK to SBD, via GUM and HNL. It's bound for the Delta Air Lines fleet. This 737-9GPER's ferry flight began on September 14th, and has been delayed at GUM since September 20th, after it had to turn back due to an undisclosed maintenance issue, and awaited parts.

38315's History:

Mar 2012: Originally delivered to Lion Air as PK-LJO, wearing the "60th 737-900ER" tail livery, and under lease from Castlelake.

Jun 2021: Withdrawn from service.

VP-CEQ remains parked at the same location, awaiting it's next leg to SBD. It's not known whether this 737-9GPER has another maintenance issue.

Lion Air's VP-CIQ

Castlelake is having former Lion Air's VP-CIQ (c/n 39878, l/n 5096) ferried from CGK to SBD, via GUM and HNL, as it will join the Delta Air Lines fleet. This 737-9GPER has "LionParcel.com" titles on the nacelles.

Sep 2014: Delivered to Lion Air as PK-LPH, under lease from Archway Aviation.

Oct 2021: Withdrawn from service.

Lion Air's VP-CEG

Castlelake is having another Lion Air 737-9GPER, VP-CEG (c/n 37290, l/n 3918), ferried from CGK to SBD, via GUM and HNL, as it will join the Delta Air Lines fleet. It appears that the "Thai" title has been taped over.

Nov 2019: Transferred to Thai Lion Air as HS-LVJ.

Mar 2020: Returned to Lion Air as PK-LQU.

The third Batik Air 737-9GPER to ferry from CGK to SBD (via GUM and HNL) is PK-LBI (c/n 38743, l/n 4711), and is flying as BTK3105.

Batik Air's PK-LBH

Batik Air's second 737-9GPER to ferry out of CGK to SBD (via GUM and HNL), is PK-LBH (c/n 38730, l/n 4430), and is flying as BTK3103.

Apr 2013: Delivered to Batik Air, originally ordered by Lion Air as PK-LKV.

Jun 2021: Withdrawn from service.

Batik Air's PK-LBG

Batik Air is ferrying three of their 737-9GPERs from CGK to SBD, via GUM and HNL. They are all headed to join the Delta Air Lines fleet. The first of the trio is PK-LBG (c/n 38688, l/n 4414), that is flying as BTK3101.

Apr 2013: Delivered to Batik Air, originally ordered by Lion Air as PK-LKW.

Lion Air's VP-CEH

Lion Air is ferrying VP-CEH (c/n 37291, l/n 3966) from CGK to SBD, via GUM and HNL. This Castlelake-owned 737-9GPER is bound for the Delta Air Lines fleet.

Batik Air's PK-LZW (c/n 38303, l/n 5225), a 737-8GP, owned by Jackson Square Aviation (JSA), is ferrying from CGK to TUS, via GUM and HNL. It's flying as BTK3101, and making an overnight stop at HNL.

Aug 2016: Leased to Malindo Air as 9M-LCG.

Mar 2020: Leased to Batik Air as PK-LZW.

Lion Air's VP-CEP

Castlelake is ferrying VP-CEP (c/n 38313, l/n 3936), a former Lion Air 737-9GPER, from CGK to SBD (via GUM and HNL). It will join the Delta Air Lines fleet as N937DM.
