Volga-Dnepr Airlines' RA-82046 Returns

Volga-Dnepr's RA-82046 returned to HNL, as it makes it way back to the mainland to return the AH-64E Apaches that they transported to the Avalon Airshow. It's flying as VDA2066, and will continue to IWA.

Volga-Dnepr Airlines' RA-82077

Another Volga-Dnepr Airlines An-124-100M, RA-82077 (c/n 9773054459151, l/n 07-09), has made a stop at HNL from KHV [Khabarovsk Novy, Khabarovsk, Russia], as VDA3015.

RA-82077 was originally delivered to Polet Flight in August 1995. The airline ceased operations in April 2015. Volga-Dnepr Airlines acquired this An-124 last month.

Volga-Dnepr's RA-82046

Volga-Dnepr Airlines' RA-82046 (c/n 97730522555117, l/n 06-10) made a stop at HNL from IWA [Phoenix Gateway Airport, AZ]. It's transporting several US Army AH-64E Apache helicopters to AVV [Avalon Airport, Geelong, Australia] for the Avalon Airshow.

Volga-Dnepr Airlines' An-124-100, RA-82079, made a stop at HNL as it transits from ARA [New Iberia, LA] to PER, as VDA2186.  It made stops at IAH, HNL, and POM.

Volga Dnepr Airlines' RA-76503

An Ilyushin IL-76TD-90VD of Volga Dnepr Airlines arrived in the early morning hours from Auckland, New Zealand as VDA4953. RA-76503 (c/n 2013422748, l/n 94-07) wears special markings of the Antarctic Logistics Centre International company. ALCI specializes in providing flights in, out, and within Antarctica utilizing the IL-76, Basler BT-67 Turbo Dakota, and DHC-6 Twin Otters. It will leave early tomorrow morning for Mountain View, CA [NUQ] as VDA4953.

Volga-Dnepr Airlines' RA-82079 (c/n 9773052062157, l/n 08-01) has made a stop at HNL as VDA1928. It arrived today from PDX, and will leave for POM tomorrow morning. On the upper fuselage, it's wearing a 25th Anniversary decal.

Volga-Dnepr Airlines's RA-76950 "Vladimir Kokkinaki" (msn 2043420697) arrived at JRF today from NGO, as it is the support aircraft for the Solar Impulse 2 Zero Fuel Aircraft. The Il-76TD-90VD is making its flight as VDA4494.

Volga-Dnepr's RA-76511

A lesser seen piece of Russian metal was in town today. A Volga-Dnepr Il-76TD-90VD arrived the previous night from Nandi International, Fiji (NAN/NFFN) and departed to Dallas Forth (KDFW) this afternoon as VDA6133. A search of RA-76511's (c/n 2123422752, l/n 94-08) recent flight history shows that it has been flying between Shanghai (PVG/ZSPD), Guam (GUM/PGUM), and Carins (CNS/YBCS) for the past week before heading to Texas.

Volga-Dnepr's RA-82045 At JRF

Volga-Dnepr Airlines' An-124-100, RA-82045 (msn 9773052255113), made a stop at JRF yesterday as it dropped off a Sikorsky S-61, C-FQNG (msn 61032), and picked up N906CH to return to its owner in Michigan. The Ruslan is flying as VDA1344, and originated in OSC [Oscoda-Wurtsmith Airport, Oscoda, MI], and stopped at MSP. VDA1344 is presently at HNL.

C-FQNG is registered to VIH Helicopters [North Saanich, British Columbia, Canada].
