Cebu Pacific Air's RP-C3271

Cebu Pacific Air is ferrying RP-C3271 (msn 5381) from MNL to LCQ (via GUM, HNL and ONT), as it has been acquired by Allegiant Air, and be registered as N281NV (f/n 281).

RP-C3271 was delivered to Cebu Pacific in November 2012, and it's last revenue flight with the airline was on September 5th.

Cebu Pacific Air’s RP-C3629

Cebu Pacific Air is ferrying RP-C3269 (msn 5250) from MNL to the US mainland (via GUM, HNL, and ONT).

RP-C3269 was delivered to Cebu Pacific Air in August 2012, and flew with the airline until March 19th.

Virgin America To Begin SFO-KOA

Alaska Airlines announced they are launching seven new route pairings based out the Bay Area with their Virgin America arm; one of the new routes will be daily service between SFO and KOA, that will launch on December 14th.  Alaska also announced six other new Bay Area route pairings on the mainland with their E175s.

Virgin America Launches LAX-HNL Service

Today, Virgin America begins daily service between LAX and HNL, with N282VA "Judy Ann" (msn 6704) making the first flight as VRD57, and VRD60 (HNL-LAX).

Daily service between LAX and OGG begins on June 14th.

China Eastern's B-2398

China Eastern Airlines is ferrying B-2398 (msn 1108) from TNA to TUS (via SPN, MAJ, and HNL) as CES9005. It's being returned to GECAS.

B-2398 was delivered to China Eastern, under lease from GECAS in November 1999, and was withdrawn from use this past March.

Virgin America Launches Maui Service

Virgin America launched its thrice-weekly service between SFO and OGG today. VRD39 is the SFO-OGG segment, and VRD42 is the OGG-SFO segment.
