The ROKAF's Airbus KC-330 Cygnus MRTT, 18-001 (msn 1787), made a stop at HIK this morning, then departed later in the day for PUS as ARGO501.

Republic of Korea Air Force's 22-001

The Republic of Korea Air Force's [ROKAF] 747-8i, 22-001 (c/n 60410, l/n 1538), is making a stop at HIK, as President Yoon Suk Yeol and First Lady Kim Keon Hee are visiting O‘ahu. President Yoon will meet with the US Indo-Pacific Command, before continuing onto Washington, DC for further meetings.

60410's History:

May 2017: Delivered to Korean Air as HL7463.

Feb 2021: Withdrawn from service.

Mar 2021: Ferried to HAM for VIP cabin conversion.

Dec 2021: Acquired by the Government of South Korea, to be operated by the ROKAF as the presidential transport.

Jun 2022: Re-registered as 22-001.

Republic of Korea Air Force's 19-002

The Republic of Korea's Airbus KC-330 Cygnus, 19-002 (msn 1848), made a stop at HIK, and returned to SSN [Seoul Air Base] today, and is flying as ARGO403.

According the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Instagram post, there was a repatriation ceremony between the US and the Republic of Korea today.

N735JS

The Republic of Korea Air Force is taking delivery of its 737-7ES "Peace Eye". It's still wearing its US registration, N735JS (c/n 34700, l/n 2822), and is bound for HIK as BOE221. It's RoKAF registration is 64-700, and painted on the tail.

BOE224

A Republic of Korea Air Force 737-7ES "Peace Eye", N963SS (c/n 35329), is making its delivery flight to South Korea today. It's flying as BOE224, had made its first stop at HNL, with GUM as the next stop before arriving at HIN (Saechon AFB, Chinju, ROK).

RoKAF's N413NS

The Republic of Korea Air Force's 737-7ES "Peace Eye" Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) N413NS (c/n 35328, l/n 3189) made a test flight from BFI as BOE223 today. N413NS made the flight still wearing the protective green layer over its aluminum skin.

It will receive the "Wedgetail" antenna, similar to the Royal Australian Air Force's and Turkish Air Force's 737-7ESs. The RoKAF has four "Peace Eyes" on order, with all built, and none delivered.

Along with 35328, the other construction numbers are: 34700/2822 (N735JS), 35327/3071 (N314FS), and 35329/3319 (N963SS).

BOE223 continues onto GUM on its way to South Korea. The "Peace Eye" will later return to BFI for final modifications and installations.

RoKAF 737-7ES AEW&C "Peace Eye"

Arriving from Boeing Field as BOE222, this 737-7ES (c/n 35327) is seen here being prepped for its flight to Guam. Its showing temporary registration as N341FS. This airborne early warning and control aircraft dubbed "Peace Eye" will be the second of four that the Republic of South Korea receives.
