A former Sichuan Airlines A320-232, B-6025 (msn 573), is returning to the US mainland from China, as it's being returned to ILFC. It's ferrying from SHE (Shenyang Taoxian International Airport), and has made stops at GUM and HNL. It's next stop is GYR.
This A320 was purchased by ILFC, and delivered to Air Macau as CS-MAD, in February 1996. Three years later, it was delivered to Ryan International Airlines as N573DC. In December 2000, it went back to Air Macau, as B-MAD, since Macau became under Chinese rule. In April 2003, it was leased to Sichuan Airlines. In July 2010, it was sub-leased to Hebei Airlines for an 11-month period. It's next lessee is scheduled to go to Aruba Airlines as P4-AAC. As you can see above, it's already painted in the Aruba Airlines livery.
Mahalo to team member Aeros for the photo.
