In the first of two Indonesia-bound 737-800 deliveries today, Garuda Indonesia is taking delivery of PK-GNG (c/n 39891, l/n 4901). The 737-8U3, leased from the Aviation Capital Group, is making its delivery flight from BFI as GIA8011, and will make a brief fuel stop at HNL, before continuing onto KSA.
As with their previous 737-8U3 deliveries this year, Garuda has changed the delivery flight routing to BFI-HNL-KSR-CGK. And like their competitor Lion Air, the stop at HNL is only for fuel.
