The Indian Navy is taking delivery of IN323 (c/n 40613, l/n 4399) today. The P-8I (737-8FV) is making its delivery flight to India as BOE204, and is still wearing the US N-Number, N718DS. It will overnight at HNL, before continuing onto GUM. This is the fourth of six airframes to be delivered.
Ironically, Indian Navy P-8Is have delivered through HNL, while commercial 737NG deliveries have taken the Atlantic route. The first three Air India Express -800s did deliver through HNL, but have since taken the trans-Atlantic option.
We were unable to get a photo of IN323 at HNL, but team member Drewski2112 got a photo of it at BFI.
