Japan Airlines is ferrying one of their 777-200s from HND to SBD, via HNL. JA8983 (c/n 27366, l/n 39) arrived this morning and will overnight before continuing on its way to storage.
I have a contact on the main land that is expecting a new arrival (777)this week for stripping and destruction so best guess is that this bird will meet its maker soon. That's what happened to the last one that passed through as well. I'll post an update when I get confirmation
