Southwest Airlines' N8730Q

Southwest Airlines' "Love Is In The Air" logo jet, N8730Q (c/n 37042, l/n 7308, f/n 8730), is making its first appearance at HNL. This special-liveried 737-8 arrived from PHX as SWA3200. It's scheduled to depart for LAX in the evening as SWA1550.

N8730Q made an appearance at OGG on 01 September 2026. It arrived from SAN as SWA1805, then departed for LAX as SWA1806.

N8730Q's History:

Dec 2018: Delivered to Southwest Airlines.

Mar 2019: Ferried to VCV for storage during 737MAX Series grounding.

Aug 2020: Sold to BOC, and leased back.

Jan 2021: Re-enters service after the grounding was lifted.

Aug 2026: "Love Is In The Air" special livery applied.

19 September 2026 UPDATE

N8730Q is also scheduled to return to HNL from OAK as SWA808 today, then continue onto PHX as SWA1877 in the evening.
