Despite the machinists strike at Boeing, Shanghai Airlines is taking delivery of B-226F (c/n 61659, l/n 8038) today. This 737-8 is making its delivery flight from BFI to PVG, via HNL and GUM as CSH9003, and will overnight at HNL.

Shanghai Airlines' B-225G

Shanghai Airlines is taking delivery of B-225G (c/n 61654, l/n 7919) today. This 737-8 is making its delivery flight from BFI to PVG, via HNL and GUM, as CSH9001; and will make an overnight stop at HNL tonight. B-225G is the first 737-8 delivered to Shanghai Airlines since March 2022, as the airline sold several built 737s to Air India Express as part of the re-marketing by Boeing.

Boeing is ferrying a Shanghai Airlines 737-8, N245BE (c/n 61663, l/n 8164) from BFI to HSN, as BOE631, and is making stops at JRF and GUM.

Shanghai Airlines' B-2876

Our September edition of "HNL RareBirds Classic" goes back to April 2005, with Shanghai Airlines' 757-26D, B-2876 (c/n 33967, l/n 1050) departing Runway 8L, on its next delivery flight leg to GUM.

B-2876 was withdrawn from service, and stored at VCV in November 2014. Two months later, it was acquired by Boeing Capital as N338BC. Delta Air Lines bought this 757 in April 2015, and re-registered it as N823DX, five months later. It had Blended Winglets installed in early 2016, and entered service in March of that year.

Shanghai Airlines is taking delivery of B-208M (c/n 61644, l/n 7365) this afternoon. This 737 MAX 8 is making its delivery flight from BFI as CSH9007, and will make an overnight stop at HNL.

Shanghai Airlines' B-2570

Shanghai Airlines is ferrying B-2570 (c/n 27941, l/n 770), a 767-36D, to the desert for retirement. Its making its ferry flight from PVG (via GUM and HNL) as CSH9008. This the last of Shanghai Airlines' 767-300s to leave their fleet.

B-2570 was delivered to Shanghai Airlines in October 1999 in the original livery. From May 2008 to December 2010, it wore the Star Alliance special livery. It was withdrawn from service this past September.

Shanghai Airlines' B-207G

Shanghai Airlines is taking delivery of B-207G (c/n 63076, l/n 7292) today. This 737-89P, their third this month, is making its delivery flight from CSH9007, and will make an overnight stop at HNL.

Shanghai Airlines is taking delivery of B-1150 (c/n 61632, l/n 7113) today. This 737 MAX 8 is making its delivery flight from BFI as CSH9007, and will make an overnight stop at HNL. B-1150 is the 50th 737 MAX to delivery through Hawai‘i; as well as the 150th 737 delivering to China.

Shanghai Airlines' B-2567

Shanghai Airlines is ferrying B-2567 (c/n 27685, l/n 686) from PVG to MZJ, via GUM and HNL. This 767-36D is making its ferry flight as CSH9765. It arrived at HNL last night, and parked on Taxiway F.

Shanghai Airlines' B-1152

Shanghai Airlines' B-2563

Shanghai Airlines is ferrying B-2563 (c/n 27309, l/n 546), a 767-36D, from PVG to MZJ (via SPN, HNL, and AVW) for storage, and is flying as CSH9765.

B-2563 was delivered to Shanghai Airlines in July 1994, and was withdrawn from service in June 2018.

B-2498 was delivered to Shanghai Airlines in August 2001, and withdrawn from service in March 2018.
