This A310 was originally delivered to Wardair Canada as C-GBWD in February 1988. When Canadian Airlines acquired Wardair Canada, C-GBWD was absorbed into the combined fleet. The Royal Canadian Air Force acquired the A310 in 1993, and had a main deck cargo door installed in 1996.

Canadian government purchased the A310s from Canadian Airlines in one of several attempts to prevent CP from going under.
This aircraft departed Perth, West Australia 30/10 at 20.38hrs (AWST) as flight CFC001,'Canforce 001'with Canadian PM Stephen Harper who attended the CHOGM meeting also attended by HRH Queen Elizabeth II.
Any departure details ex: Hawaii would be appreciated if anyone knows on this aircraft. Thanks
