ANA Cargo's JA605F

ANA Cargo's JA605F (c/n 30842, l/n 860), a 767-316F with "Okinawa" titles and a "Yamato Group" logo, made a stop at HNL on its ANA8482/8481 service between NRT and HNL. It's been here a few times previously, but we were able to get a photo of it today.

30842's History:

Nov 2001: Delivered to Florida West Airlines as N316LA, leased from GECAS.

Apr 2014: Leased to ANA Cargo as JA605F, with the Okinawa and Yamato Group markings.

Singapore Airlines' 9V-MBJ

Singapore Airlines is taking delivery of 9V-MBJ (c/n 44254, l/n 7632) today. This 737-8, still wearing the SilkAir livery, is making its delivery flight from BFI as SIA8890, and will overnight at HNL.

Malindo Air's VP-CFQ

Castlelake is having a former Malindo Air 737-9GPERs ferry from SZB to SBD, via GUM and HNL, as it will join the Delta Air Lines fleet. VP-CFQ (c/n 38729, l/n 4380), and it will overnight at HNL.

38729's History:

Mar 2013: Delivered to Malindo Air as 9M-LNG.

Sep 2020: Withdrawn from service, and stored at KUL.

Mar 2021: Ferried to SZB for storage.

Dec 2021: Sold to Castlelake.

LATAM Airlines Chile's CC-CXK

LATAM Airlines Chile is ferrying CC-CXK (c/n 37802, l/n 978) from MIA to SIN for freighter conversion. This 767-316ER, still in the LAN Chile livery, is making its ferry flight as LAN9954, and is making an overnight stop at HNL.

CC-CXK's History:

Feb 2010: Delivered to LAN Chile.

May 2016: Airline rebrands as LATAM as LAN and TAM merge.

Memphis Tigers Team Charter

The University of Memphis Tigers football team chartered an Omni Air International 767-33AER, N351AX (c/n 27908, l/n 578, f/n 351) for their trip to HNL, to play the University of Hawai‘i Rainbow Warriors, in the EasyPost Hawai‘i Bowl on December 24th. The Tigers arrived from MEM as OAE8614. This 767-33AER will not stay at HNL, but departed for AFW (with the same flight number) shortly after arrival.

27908's History:

Aug 1995: Delivered to Alitalia as G-OITF, under lease from AWAS.

Nov 1996: Re-registered as I-DEIF "Cristoforo Colombo".

Aug 2009: Leased to Omni Air International as N351AX.

Sep 2019: Acquired by CAM, and lease transferred.

24 Dec 2021 UPDATE

N351AX returned to HNL to take the Memphis Tigers back to MEM tonight as OAE8623.

Batik Air’s VP-CJO

The second Batik Air A320-214 that Nomadic Aviation is ferrying from ASP to MLB (via BNE, MAJ, HNL, and PHX), is VP-CJO (msn 6697). It’s a lease return flight for Aviation Capital Group, flying as OMD549, and will overnight at HNL.

6697’s History:

Aug 2015: Delivered to Batik Air as PK-LAP, under lease from GECAS.

Apr 2017: Acquired by ACG, and lease transferred.

Jun 2021: Withdrawn from service, and stored at CGK.

Oct 2021: Ferried to ASP for long-term storage.

Batik Air’s VP-CJB

Nomadic Aviation is ferrying a pair Batik Air’s A320-214s from ASP to MLB, via BNE, MAJ, HNL, and PHX. The first of the A320s is VP-CJB (msn 6280), flying as OMD550, and is being returned to the Aviation Capital Group. It’s making an overnight stop at HNL tonight.

Oct 2014: Delivered to Batik Air as PK-LAG, under lease from Jackson Square Aviation.

Dec 2016: Acquired by ACG, and lease transferred.

Jun 2021: Withdrawn from service, and stored at CGK.

Oct 2021: Ferried to ASP for long-term storage.

LATAM Airlines Chile’s CC-CXD

Nomadic Aviation is ferrying LATAM Airlines Chile’s CC-CXD (c/n 35697, l/n 967) from SIN to MIA (via HNL), as OMD513. It’s returning after freighter conversion.

35697’s History:

May 2008: Originally delivered to LAN Airlines as CC-CXD.

Nov 2010: Leased to LAN Ecuador as HC-CJX.

Mar 2012: Returned to LAN Airlines.

Aug 2020: Withdrawn from service, and stored at SCL.

Jly 2021: Ferried to SIN for freighter conversion.

Japan Airlines’ JA773J

Japan Airlines is ferrying JA773J (c/n 27653, l/n 635) from NGO to VCV (via HNL), as JAL8130. This 777-246, wearing the “Tokyo 2020 / Fly For It” special livery, has been sold to an undisclosed buyer.

JA773J’s History:

May 2007: Delivered to Japan Airlines.

Apr 2019: Painted in the “Tokyo 2020 / Fly For It” special livery.

Feb 2021: Withdrawn from service, and stored at OKA.

Batik Air's VP-CFT

Castlelake is having a former Batik Air 737-9GPER ferry from CGK to SBD, via GUM and HNL, as it will join the Delta Air Lines fleet. VP-CFT (c/n 38731,  l/n 4463) will overnight at HNL.

38731's History:

May 2013: Delivered to Batik Air as PK-LBO.

Jun 2021: Withdrawn from service, and stored at CGK.

Dec 2021: Sold to Castlelake as VP-CFT, and will be leased to Delta Air Lines as N947DC.

Singapore Airlines' 9V-MBI

Singapore Airlines is taking delivery of its next 737-8, 9V-MBI (c/n 44253, l/n 7593) today. It's making is delivery flight from BFI to SIN, via HNL and GUM as SIA8890. This SilkAir clad 737-8 will overnight at HNL.

N829KW

N829KW (c/n 28526, l/n 355), a 777-212ER acquired for Eastern Airlines by Jet Midwest, is making its way from ASP to MCI, via BNE and HNL. It's making an overnight stop at HNL tonight, and is still wearing the Singapore Airlines livery.

28526's History:

Aug 2001: Originally delivered to Singapore Airlines as 9V-SVC.

Aug 2010: Leased to Royal Brunei Airlines as V8-BLE.

Aug 2012: Returned to Singapore Airlines.

Mar 2020: Withdrawn from service, and stored at ASP a month later.

Dec 2021: Acquired by Jet Midwest for Eastern Airlines as N829KW.

Lion Air's N357AG

Nomadic Aviation is ferrying N357AG (c/n 35723, l/n 2848), a former Lion Air 737-9GPER, from ASP to OPF, via BNE, GUM, HNL, and PHX, as OMD536. This one is not going to Delta Air Lines.

Mar 2009: Delivered to Lion Air as PK-LFV.

Sep 2015: Sold to DVB Bank, and leased back to Lion Air.

Jun 2018: Sold to Aviation Capital Group, and lease transferred.

Jun 2021: Withdrawn from service, and stored at CGK.

Oct 2021: Ferried to ASP for storage.

N213EM

N213EM (c/n 38652, l/n 2475), a 737-75G BBJ owned by Altitude 51, is on its way from GED to SGN, via LGB, HNL, and GUM, as it has been acquired by its new owner in Vietnam.

Jan 2008: Originally delivered to MGM Mirage as N730MM.

Feb 2009: Sold to Hyundai as HL7787.

Jan 2019: Sold to Altitude 51 as N213EM.

Dec 2021: Sold to new owner in Vietnam, new registration pending.

07 Dec 2021 UPDATE

N213EM's US registration cancelled with the FAA.

27 Dec 2021 UPDATE

Registered as VN-A123 to an undisclosed owner.

Another Batik Air 737-9GPER, VP-CFH (c/n 38689, l/n 4441), is being ferried from CGK to SBD (via GUM and HNL) by Castlelake for its lease to Delta Air Lines. It will be registered as N942DC.

May 2013: Delivered to Batik Air as PK-LBM.

Jun 2021: Withdrawn from service, and stored at CGK.

Dec 2021: Acquired by Castlelake, and ferried to SBD, and leased to Delta Air Lines.
