ANA Cargo's JA605F (c/n 30842, l/n 860), a 767-316F with "Okinawa" titles and a "Yamato Group" logo, made a stop at HNL on its ANA8482/8481 service between NRT and HNL. It's been here a few times previously, but we were able to get a photo of it today.

The University of Memphis Tigers football team chartered an Omni Air International 767-33AER, N351AX (c/n 27908, l/n 578, f/n 351) for their trip to HNL, to play the University of Hawai‘i Rainbow Warriors, in the EasyPost Hawai‘i Bowl on December 24th. The Tigers arrived from MEM as OAE8614. This 767-33AER will not stay at HNL, but departed for AFW (with the same flight number) shortly after arrival.

Aloha Air Cargoʻs Parent Looks To Upgrade Fleet
Aloha Air Cargo‘s parent company, Northern Aviation Services, is looking into upgrading its 737-300F and -400F fleet for both Aloha and Northern Air Cargo. In a CH-Aviation article, the holding company is looking into 737-700Fs, 737-800Fs, and even ATR-Fs as fleet renewal aircraft. It's currently just an exploratory phase.
Lāna‘i Air To File For Scheduled Service
Lāna‘i Air's parent company Pulama Lāna‘i and operator Western Aircraft, filed an application with the US DOT to fly scheduled commuter service between HNL and LNY. The charter company will dedicate two of their PC-12 fleet (N92NG and N439CM) for this proposed service.

Singapore Airlines' 9V-MBG
Singapore Airlines is taking delivery of 9V-MBG (c/n 44251, l/n 7436) today. This 737-8 is making its delivery flight from BFI to SIN as SIA8890, with stops at HNL and GUM. It was built in February 2019, and was one of the early birds that were affected by the global grounding of the MAX series, as it made its first flight on 09 Mar 2019. It was ferried to Moses Lake, WA [MWH] for storage during the grounding, and returned to BFI in October 2021.
9V-MBG was originally ordered by SilkAir, but was transferred to the Singapore Airlines (along with the eight on order), as SilkAir's operations were merged with its parent company this past January. Previous photos show that MBG was painted in SilkAir's livery, and it has yet to be painted in the Singapore Airlines livery.

Castlelake is having Lion Air's VP-CEQ (c/n 38315, l/n 3954) ferried from CGK to SBD, via GUM and HNL. It's bound for the Delta Air Lines fleet. This 737-9GPER's ferry flight began on September 14th, and has been delayed at GUM since September 20th, after it had to turn back due to an undisclosed maintenance issue, and awaited parts.

As one of the Seattle Kraken's major sponsors, Alaska Airlines has adorned N915AK (c/n 44080, l/n 7682, f/n 915), with a Kraken-themed special livery to commemorate the National Hockey League's newest franchise, and the airline's sponsorship. This 737-9 is making it's first visit to HNL today from SEA as ASA174, then onto LAX as ASA866. It also made a stop at KOA from SEA, and back yesterday, as ASA807/880.

The Federal Aviation Administration has renamed the taxiways associated with Runway 8R/26L, also known as "The Reef Runway". The change takes effect today, and the HDOT-A crews spent the night replacing the signage.
