Hawaiian Airlines Unveils oneWorld Logo Jet
In a ceremony at their hangar, Hawaiian Airlines unveiled its entrance to the oneWorld alliance. N375HA "Humu" (msn 1606) was ferried to SIN for repainting earlier this month, and will wear the oneWorld wordmark on the forward fuselage, along with "Aloha a puni ka honua" ("Aloha all around the world"). N375HA is expected back in a couple of weeks.

A Trio of RNLAF MRTTs
A trio of A330-243MRTTs from the Royal Netherlands Air Force are making a stop at HIK from SLC today. These Multi-Role Transport Tankers are escorting six RNLAF F-35A Lightnings from SLC as part of an exercise the RNLAF and USAF are having this month in Utah.
The three MRTTs from 334 Squadron are: T-061 (msn 2030), flying as MMF30; T-054 (msn 1830), flying as MMF35; and T-059 (msn 1982), flying as MMF29. They are flying under the NATO Support and Procurement Agency flight code, as they operate for the Multinational Multi-Role Transport Tanker Fleet.

This RNLAF group of fighters and tankers are to depart for MSJ [Misawa AB, Misawa-shi, Aomori-ken, Japan].

Hawaiian Airlines' Kahu‘ewai Hawai‘i Investment Plan
The Alaska Air Group announced today that they will be investing over US$600M over the next five years for Hawaiian Airlines' Kahu‘ewai Hawai‘i Investment to improve their lobbies and gates at all five Hawai‘i airports; improved app and website and technology improvements; enhanced rewards and benefits for local residents; and upgrading the cabins of their A330-243 fleet.

Washington Huskies Team Charter
The Washington Huskies have chartered a Hawaiian Airlines A330-243 for their road trip to MSN, to face the Wisconsin Badgers on Saturday. N374HA "Melemele" (msn 1565) departed BFI as ASA9682, and will remain at MSN to bring back the Huskies as ASA9683.

Hawaiian Airlines Resumes HNL-AKL Service
Hawaiian Airlines announced that they are resuming seasonal service between HNL and AKL. The thrice weekly A330-243 flight will begin on 16 November, and run through the end of April 2026.

Washington Huskies Team Charter
The Washington Huskies are chartering a Hawaiian Airlines A330-243 for their road trip to play the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday. N391HA "Hokulei" (msn 1399) departed BFI for DTW as HAL738, and will remain there to bring the Huskies back.

The Huskies returned to BFI aboard N391HA as HAL739, following their 24-7 loss to the Wolverines.

Hawaiian Airlines' UW Team Charter
With Alaska Airlines being a corporate sponsor of the University of Washington Huskies football team, they chartered a Hawaiian Airlines A330-243 for their road trip to BWI to play the Maryland Terapins. N373HA "Kūkalaniʻehu" (msn 1530) flew the Huskies from BFI today as HAL732. This A330-243 will remain at BWI to bring the team back.

N373HA brought back the Huskies to BFI, following their 24-20 victory over the Terapins, as HAL733.

Two Hawaiian Airlines Airliners In Ground Collision
According to eyewitness reports, a Hawaiian Airlines A330-243, N390HA "Namahoe" (msn 1389) was under tow when its port side winglet clipped the a corner of the starboard elevator of 717-22A, N480HA "Pueo" (c/n 55125, l/n 5070) this afternoon.
N480HA had just emerged from a C-check, and was parked near the hangar. N390HA was also involved in an uncontrolled collision with a jet bridge several days ago, when the chocks were removed while the parking brakes were off.

Hawaiian Airlines To End Three Routes
Citing under performance in three routes, Hawaiian Airlines announced today that FUK-HNL, BOS-HNL, and ICN-HNL are ending in November. FUK and BOS services ends on 19 November, and ICN service ends on 21 November. The A330-243s will be dispatched on other routes.

Hawaiian Airlines' N378HA Gets "Lilo & Stitch" Decals
Hawaiian Airlines posted an Instagram Reel showing decals for the upcoming live-action version of Disney's "Lilo & Stitch" motion picture being applied to N378HA "Kaukamalama"(msn 1615). This A330-243 was taken out of service on 05 May, and will return to service on 08 May, as it scheduled to depart to PHX as HAL36. The motion picture is slated to hit theaters on 23 May.
Like the "Moana 2" decals, there will be an A321-271N and a 717-200, to receive "Lilo & Stitch" decals in the coming weeks.

Hawaiian Airlines To Launch SEA-NRT In May 2025
As part of the new "Alaska Accelerate" initiative, Hawaiian Airlines will launch daily non-stop A330-243 flights between SEA and NRT in May 2025. In October 2025, Hawaiian will launch daily A330-243 service between SEA and ICN.
Hawaiian will also add more flights between Hawai‘i and California.

Water Cannon Salute For Pearl Harbor Survivor
The HNL ARFF honored Pearl Harbor attack survivor, Ira "Ike' Schab with a water cannon salute, as his Hawaiian Airlines flight taxied to the gate after arriving from PDX as HAL49. The 104-year-old Schab was also honored at the gate by Hawaiian Airlines employees. He is here to attend the 83rd December 7th remembrance at the Arizona Memorial Park on Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam. There are 16 survivors of the attack still living.
N388HA "Nahiku" (msn 1310, f/n 388) made the flight from PDX, and the water cannon salute was done as the A330-243 taxied near the Mauka Extension, where it parked at Gate A7.

Hawaiian Airlines To Have Three Moana 2 Theme Jets
Hawaiian Airlines announced today, that they will be promoting "Moana 2", the sequel to the 2016 Disney animated motion picture "Moana". Three airliners will wear "Moana 2" decals: an A330-243, N381HA "Hōkūleʻa" (msn 1114, f/n 381); an A321-271N, N208HA "Koa" (msn 8123, f/n 208); and a 717-22A, N476HA "ʻElepaio" (c/n 55118, l/n 5053, f/n 476). These three airliners were selected based upon their fleet name in relation to voyaging methods. This promotion is also tied into the airlines "Navigate Your Own Adventure" sweepstakes Hawaiian is conducting.
Hawaiian Airlines published a behind-the-scenes video go "Hōkūleʻa" having its decals applied on their YouTube channel.
In October 2016, Hawaiian Airlines had decals of the original "Moana" motion picture applied to three A330-243s: N390HA "Nāmāhoe", N391HA "Hōkūlei", and N392HA "Hikianalia".

Royal Canadian Air Force's 330002
The Royal Canadian Air Force's CC-330, 330002 (msn 1653), is making a brief fuel stop at HNL from YOW, as it transits westward as CFC1. This VIP-configured A330-243 is transporting Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. During its brief fuel stop, 330002 parked on the south cargo ramp.
1653's History:
Aug 2015: Delivered to Kuwait airways as 9K-APC "Al Sabahiya".
Mar 2019: 65th Anniversary decals applied, and renamed "Al-Jalboot".
Feb 2023: Withdrawn from service, and stored at BSL.
Aug 2023: Acquired by the Royal Canadian Air Force, to be configured with a VIP cabin, and registered as 330002.

NBA Team Charters
Both the Los Angeles Clippers and the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association arrived today aboard their own team charters today. Both teams are holding their preseason training camps here on O‘ahu, and will play a single exhibition game in October.
The Clippers arrived from LAX, aboard a Hawaiian Airlines A330-243, N383HA "Hānaiakamālama" (msn 1217), as HAL741.
The Warriors arrived from SFO, aboard Omni Air International's 767-323ER, N36NE (c/n 25193, l/n 388) as OAE2563. They used the New England Patriots-liveried 767.

The Warriors returned to SFO aboard N36NE as OAE2563 tonight. The Clippers returned to LAX aboard N393HA "Lehuakona" (msn 1422) as HAL742 tonight.

Qantas To Take Over MEL-HNL From Jetstar
Aeroroutes.com reports that Qantas will take over the MEL-HNL service from Jetstar from 01 May 2025. Qantas will employ its A330-200s on a thrice-weekly service, which will be one more day than the current Jetstar 787-8 service.

Royal Air Force Joins RIMPAC 2024
An MRA1 Poseidon and a KC2 Voyager from the Royal Air Force are participating in this year's RIMPAC exercise. The MRA1, or P-8A, ZP808 (c/n 66108, l/n 8757) is from the No. 40 Expeditionary Air Wing, based at RAF Lossiemouth. The KC2, or A330-243 MRTT, ZZ343 (msn 1610), is from the No. 38 Expeditionary Air Wing, based at RAF Brize Norton.
