NOTES
On the occasion that a delivery flight stops through the Kalaeloa Airport [JRF], a Neighbor Island airport, or Anchorage, AK [ANC], their IATA airport code will noted after the flight number. However, delivery flights that go through ANC will only be listed here, and not be listed on the "Deliveries" pages.

Due to the China Corona Virus, and the production backlog due to the 737 MAX grounding, some may deliver from sites other than BFI, and will be noted in the flight number information.

Some of the deliveries bound for China will begin ferrying to the 737 Completion and Delivery Center, in Zhoushan, China, will have this » symbol following the flight number, which may be a Boeing flight number assigned to the particular airframe.

All Nippon Airways' parent company, ANA Holdings, has given their Air Japan subsidiary its own corporate identity. The Air Japan brand has existed for over 15 years, as ANA's domestic and international travel/leisure subsidiary. In the past, flights have used the NQ/AJX flight codes, but had full ANA-liveried aircraft with small Air Japan titles added to the fuselage (see above photo). Up until the China Corona Virus pandemic forced air travel to decrease, Air Japan flights to HNL were operated with ANA's 787-9s.

The new Air Japan will focus on medium-haul routes, with full service. It's not known if HNL will be part of the Air Japan route structure. However, since the re-instatement of the HND-HNL service last year, the flight is listed as an All Nippon Airways, ANA186/185.

Further information is detailed in this ANA Holdings press release. The AeroNews Global Facebook page has a post with various views of the new Air Japan livery.

Прошання Мрия!

We bid Aloha ‘oe to the gentle giant. Sadly, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has confirmed that Russian invasion forces have destroyed the lone Antonov An-225 Mriya, UR-82060 (c/n 19530503763, l/n 01-01) as they launched a second attack on Gostomel Airport, where the Antonov Design Bureau is based. According to Sam Chui's website, various outlets in the Ukraine, including Antonov, confirm the destruction of the world's largest aircraft.

There have three times that the An-225 visited HNL. In 2005, the Mriya stopped to pick up historic rail cars to take to the midwest, and returned the cars a few week later. In 2009, following the earthquake and tsunami in American Sāmoa, the An-225 transported FEMA electrical generators to PPG, with a stop at HNL. And in 2018, it stopped here on its way to GUM, to deliver FEMA relief supplies after a typhoon hit Guam.
