Big Island Jet Center Opens At KOA

KOA has a new fixed base operator on its south ramp. The Big Island Jet Center opened for business today. They will join Atlantic Aviation and Signature Flight Support on KOA's South Ramp.

Ross Aviation Acquires AirService Hawaii

Fixed Base Operator Ross Aviation [Denver, CO] has acquired Hawai‘i's FBO Air Service Hawaii. The purchase includes operations and facilities at six Hawai‘i airports (HNL, LIH, OGG, LNY, ITO, and KOA). Ross Aviation itself, is being acquired by Atlantic Aviation.

Signature Flight Support Moves In

Signature Flight Support has taken over the Landmark Aviation compound at 98 Kapalulu Place. The former bought out the latter in September 2015, and the deal was finalized on February 8th. Signature also took over the Landmark facilities at LIH, OGG, LNY, ITO, and KOA.

Bradley Pacific Aviation Becomes Landmark Aviation

Landmark Aviation (Houston, TX), a global FBO and MRO group, announced that they have acquired Ross Aviation (Denver, CO), the parent company of Bradley Pacific Aviation, a Hawai‘i-based FBO subsidiary. At HNL, the signage fronting the Bradley Pacific Kapalulu Street facility has been covered with a temporary Landmark banner. Bradley Pacific has six FBO centers in Hawai‘i (HNL, ITO, KOA, OGG, LIH, and LNY).

The HNL Landmark facility was originally built as Hemmeter Aviation (1980-1990), which became Century Aviation (until 2003). Bradley Pacific Aviation took over the FBO facility, and it was acquired by Ross Aviation in 2007.
