Fly Guam's N238AG

Fly Guam's 737-4Y0, N238AG (c/n 23866, l/n 1589), is making its way back the US mainland. The 737-4Y0, wet-leased from Sky King, is flying as SGB2383. This leaves Fly Guam without an aircraft for their service. It's not known why N238AG is headed back to the mainland.

N238AG left shortly after noon for OAK as SGB2384, and arrived at TUS in the evening as SGB2385.

Fly Guam's N720VX, Vol II

According to a well-placed source, Fly Guam's N720VX is returning to Florida. Sky King, the wet-lease company, has also recalled half of the pilots assigned to Fly Guam. The other 737-400, N238AG, is still with the airline, but its flight to NGO has been cancelled. 

Fly Guam's N720VX

Fly Guam is taking delivery of their second 737-400 wet-leased from Sky King. N720VX (c/n 24129, l/n 1783), a 737-4K5, is making its delivery flight with the Sky King call-sign, "Songbird", and coding SGB. The MIA-OAK leg was flown as SGB7201, the OAK-HNL leg as SGB7202, and the HNL-MDY as SGB7203. Due to daytime flight restrictions regarding the bird sanctuary, the 737 will wait until this evening to depart for MAJ.

The stopover at HNL was during evening hours, thus no HNL photos.

This 737-4K5 was originally delivered to Germany's Hapag-Lloyd in October 1989 as D-AHLP. In January 1998, it was acquired by Japan Transocean Airlines (JTA), a JAL subsidiary, and registered as JA8953. It was then acquired by Wells Fargo Bank in August 2010, then leased to Sky King as N720VX, as a white tail.

Fly Guam's N238AG

Fly Guam's first 737-4Y0, N238AG (c/n 23866, l/n 1589), is making its way from LAL (Lakeland Linder Regional Airport, Lakeland, FL) to GUM via LAS, OAK, and HNL. It's flying as SGB238A, with the 737 wet-leased from Sky King. The top photo shows N238AG after its arrival from OAK, and the above photo shows the reef fish on the tail logo.

23866 was originally delivered to Istanbul Airlines (on lease from Guinness Peat Aviation - GPA) as TC-ADA in October 1988. It then went to GECAS, where it was leased to China Xinhua Airlines as B-2969 in March 1996. Boullioun Aircraft Holding Company (BAHC) acquired 23866 in March 1998, and leased it to Cronus Airlines as SX-BGH, which was acquired by Aegean Airlines. In September 2009, Wells Fargo Bank purchased 23866, and leased to Sky King (5K/SGB, "Songbird").

Fly Guam is a new venture by Freedom Air (Agana, GU) that will provide service among the western Pacific islands.
