Japan Airlines Orders 16 E190-E2s

Japan Airlines has placed an order with Embraer for 16 E190-E2s (and an option for an additional ten). These E190-E2s will be assigned to J-Air, JAL Group's regional airline based at ITM [Ōsaka International Airport, Itami, Japan] with deliveries scheduled to begin in 2029. The E2s will eventually replace the existing E170 and E190 fleet.
