Polet Flight's AOC Canceled

ATWOnline.com reports that the Russian government has canceled the Air Operator's Certificate for Polet Flight [YQ/POT] due to financial troubles. The airline used to fly military charter flights in behalf of the US Department of Defense. Its fleet has been put into storage for the time being.

Polet Flight did have some of these military cargo flights stop through HNL, NGF, and JRF. Pictured above is RA-82077 "Fedor Muravchenko" (c/n 9773054459151, l/n 07-09) departing from Runway 8R in 2013.

Polet Flight's RA-82068

A Polet Flight An-124-100, RA-82068 (c/n 9773051359127, l/n 07-03), stopped off at HNL from ROK [Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia], Monday evening as POT4787. It departed this morning (photo above) for IAD, as the same flight number.

Polet Airlines' RA-82077

Along with the National DC-8-63CF, is an An-124-100 of Polet Airlines was also parked at the Ewa Hardstands this week. RA-82077 (c/n 9773054459151) is seen above, which has been parked since last Thursday, after arriving from COS as POT4186.

Polet Airlines An-124

This An-124-100 of Polet Airlines arrived in the early hours of the 25th of October. RA-82075 (c/n 9773053459147) landed and taxied to Hickam. It was most likely here as a military charter to haul USMC CH-53s, or other cargo.

A Polet Flight An-124 is in from TPA (Tampa, FL) as POT923, and is parked on the North Ramp Hardstands. The flight continues to BNE (Brisbane, Queensland, Australia).

Polet AN-124

Here's the Polet AN-124 that stopped off in HNL today. RA-82077 parked at the North Ramp right next to a pair of Asia Pacific 727-200F. I was able to drive up and get a good look at the aircraft. Surprisingly, the huge wings of the AN-124 only extend a couple of feet over the lines of the hardstand.
