Surinam Airways' VP-CZK

Nomadic Aviation is ferrying VP-CZK (c/n 30711, l/n 2159) from KUL to MZJ, via GUM and JRF as OMD269. This 737-8Q8, under lease from AerCap, is due for Surinam Airways at PBM, as PZ-TCX. It made a gas & go fuel stop at JRF last night.

30711's History:
Jan 2007: Delivered to China United Airlines as B-5183, under lease from ILFC.
May 2014: Sold to AerCap, and the lease transferred.
Mar 2017: Leased to US-Bangla Airlines as S2-AJC.
Jan 2023: Withdrawn from service, and stored at KUL.
Aug 2023: Re-registered as VP-CZK.

N348NA

N348NA (c/n 34538, l/n 1853), a 737-79L owned by DAE Capital, is being ferried from OPF to INU (via VNY and HNL), as its due to join the Nauru Airlines fleet, with an Australian registration. It's being delivered in a partial Surinam Airways livery.

34538's History:
Jan 2006: Delivered to Air China as B-5203, leased from AWAS.
Aug 2017: Sold to DAE Capital, and lease transferred.
Apr 2018: Leased to Surinam Airways as PZ-TCS "District of Saramacca".
Feb 2021: Returned and stored at OPF
Jun 2021: Acquired by Nauru Airlines as VH-INU.
This is the third time that this airframe has delivered through HNL.


04 Jly 2021 UPDATE
VH-INU will be put into service sometime in the 4th Quarter of this year, as flight crews will need to be trained, the aircraft certified, and painted into the Nauru Airlines livery.

Surinam Airways' N348JS

Surinam Airways is taking delivery of N348JS (c/n 34538, l/n 1853). This 737-79L, leased from DAE Capital, is making its delivery flight from CTU [Chengdu, China] to PBM [Zanderij International Airport, Paramaribo, Suriname], via GUM, HNL, ELP [El Paso, TX], and MIA [Miami, FL].

34538 was originally delivered to Air China in January 2006 as B-5203, leased from AWAS. In August 2017, it was sold to DAE Capital, and the lease with Air China was transferred. 34538 was returned to DAE Capital earlier this month.
