Lanmei Airlines' XA-VAH

Carlyle Aviation Partners is ferrying a former Viva Aerobus [VB/VIV] A320-232, XA-VAH (msn 3743), from MTY [General Mariano Escobedo International Airport, Monterrey, México] to PNH [Pochentong International Airport, Phnom Penh, Cambodia]  as it will join the Lanmei Airlines [LQ/MKR] fleet. This A320 will make stops at TIJ [General Abelardo L Rodriguez International Airport, Tijuana, México] as VIV1, HNL as VIV2, MAJ as VIV3, GUM as VIV4, and HKG as VIV5.

3743 was originally purchased by ILFC, and leased to Jetstar Airways in January 2009 as VH-VQB. In May 2014, it was sold to AerCap, and the lease transferred. In January 2015, it was leased to Viva Aerobus as XA-VAH. In December 2016, it was sold to Apollo Aviation, and was withdrawn from service in December 2018, when it was sold to Carlyle Aviation Partners.

Viva AeroBus' XA-VAF

Mexico's Viva AeroBus [VB/VIV] is taking delivery of an A320-232, XA-VAF (msn 2443). The A320 is making its ferry flight from XSP [Seletar, Singapore] to MTY [Generál Mariano Escobedo International Airport, Monterrey, Mexico], via GUM and HNL. It was at XSP for maintenance and new paint.

2443 was originally delivered to Kingfisher Airlines [IT/KFR] (India) as VT-KFB in May 2005. It was sold to AWAS in July 2013, and registered as OE-ICG. The leasing company recently leased it to Viva AeroBus.

Viva AeroBus' XA-VIT

Viva AeroBus [VB/VIV] is taking delivery of XA-VIT (c/n 27635, l/n 2721), a 737-3K2, from CHC, that was the former Air New Zealand ZK-SJE. The ferry flight made stops at WLG, NAN. MAJ, HNL, and TIJ, before reaching its new home at MTY. It's being leased from ILFC. The flight stopped through HNL, but was not listed on any flight trackers. Skyliners.de had it listed, but was discovered this morning, probably after it had departed HNL.

27635 was originally delivered to Transavia (under lease from ILFC) as PH-TSZ in May 1995. Freedom Air International (New Zealand) [SJ/FOM] was its next lessee as ZK-SJE in October 2001. When Air New Zealand acquired Freedom Air, ZK-SJE was transferred to the ANZ fleet. It's lease with ILFC recently expired, hence the new stint with VIV.

Viva AeroBus 737-301

Along with the three delivery 737s from the Boeing factory is this 737-301 for Viva AeroBus. XA-VIF (msn 23552) is seen here being prepped for its flight presumably to Mexico. This 737 started its life with Piedmont in 1987 before changing hands to US Airways, AirAsia, and Indonesia Air Asia.
