Airzena Georgia Airways' N477AX

Cargo Aircraft Management is ferrying N477AX (c/n 29390, l/n 870) from QPG to MCN [Middle Georgia Regional Airport, Macon GA], with a stop at HNL today. This 767-3Q8ERF just completed freighter conversion, and is headed for painting for its new lessee. It arrived still wearing the Airzena Georgia Airways livery, which was the last airline leased to.

29390's History:
Mar 2002: Delivered to Skymark Airlines as JA767C, under lease from ILFC.
Jan 2007: Painted in the current Skymark livery.
Mar 2008: Leased to Rossiya Airlines as EI-DZH.
May 2014: Acquired by AerCap, and the lease was transferred.
May 2016: Leased to Omni Air International as N477AX (f/n 477).
Jun 2024: Leased to Airzena Georgia Airways as 4L-GTR.
Mar 2026: Returned to Cargo Aircraft Management as N477AX, and ferried to QPG for freighter conversion.

Eastern Airlines' N703KW

Eastern Airlines' 767-336ER, N703KW (c/n 24343, l/n 346, f/n 703), is making a brief fuel stop at HIK from DNA this morning, as EAL3150. It will continue onto HIF as EAL3152.

Samaritan's Purse's N367SP

Following Super Typhoon Sinlaku hitting the Northern Marianas Islands, Samaritan's Purse is sending relief supplies and personnel aboard their 767-381ERF, N367SP (c/n 33510, l/n 939) from GSO to SPN, with stops at ONT, and KOA, flying as NSP6.

N367SP's only other stop in Hawai‘i was when it was delivered to Samaritan's Purse in March 2025.

Amazon Prime Air's N661AZ

Amazon Prime Air's N661AZ (c/n 29384, l/n 784) is ferrying from QPG to BQK [Golden Isles Airport, Brunswick, GA], with stops at CRK, JRF, and PHX. This 767-304ERF completed its conversion to a freighter at QPG. N661AZ stopped through HNL last October. It most likely will be operated by Air Transport International.

Delta Air Lines Expands Hawai‘i Service

Delta Air Lines announced today, that they will expand services to Hawai‘i for next winter. The airline will launch an MSP-OGG route, and resume the BOS-HNL route on 19 December 2026, both operated with their A330-300s. A daily SLC-KOA route, flown with their 767-300ERs, will launch on 09 November 2026.

Seasonal additions include: a second (three-times-weekly) ATL-HNL A330-300 flight, from 04 January 2027 to 31 March 2028; DTW-HNL (A330-300) to go daily from 09 November 2026; JFK-HNL (767-300ER) to go daily on 01 April 2026; and KOA-LAX to upgauge to their 767-300ERs for Winter 2026.

Federal Express' N101FE

Federal Express is adding a flight from OAK to HNL, FDX1860, and it will be flown by their 767-3S2Fs. N101FE "Hannah" (c/n 42706, l/n 1058, f/n 101) is making today's pre-dawn flight. This will be the first time that FedEx will use their 767s for scheduled cargo flights to HNL, and comes on the heels of the MD-11F groundings.

Back in August 2021, Federal Express sent N120FE for ground training at HNL.

N101FE departed for OAK early this morning, as FDX1830.

Delta Air Lines' Additional ATL Service

Earlier this month, on 19 December, Delta Air Lines added a second seasonal round-trip flight between ATL and HNL. DAL438/962 is flying the second flight, that began with a 767-332ER, N174DZ (c/n 29693, l/n 725, f/n 1704). This service will end on 05 January 2026.

Today, however, Delta is changing aircraft flying DAL438/962 to the A350-941, and N523DN (msn 677, f/n 3523) is making the flight. Currently, Delta is the only airline with scheduled A350 service to Hawai‘i.

Coulson Aviation's 767 VLAT Program

Coulson Aviation announced today that they are launching the 767 VLAT (Very Large Air Tanker) program. This new variant of the Boeing 767 will be able to perform aerial firefighting flights with their RADS tanks, as well as transport passengers. This comes on the heels of the grounding of DC-10s and MD-11s. No timetable was listed as to when the first 767 will enter service for Coulson. From the conceptual illustration, it looks to be 767-300s that will be used.

California Golden Bears Hawai‘i Bowl Charter

The California Golden Bears football team are chartering an Omni Air International 767-300ER for their appearance in the Sheraton Hawai‘i Bowl against the Hawai‘i Rainbow Warriors, on Christmas Eve. N468AX (c/n 30115, l/n 863, f/n 468), a 767-36NER, is flying the Golden Bears as OAE3890 from OAK, arriving early tomorrow morning. N468AX will return to service to SEA as OAE271 after dropping off the Golden Bears.

N468AX is returning to HNL from SEA as OAE323, and will wait to take the Golden Bears following the game.

24 December 2025 UPDATE
The Golden Bears are returning to OAK as OAE3890 after their last-minute 35-31 loss to the Rainbow Warriors.

Eastern Airlines' N705KW (c/n 24342, l/n 363) is making a stop at JRF from OKO tonight. This 767-336ER is flying as EAL9536.

Japan Airlines Celebrates 40 Years Of 767 Service

This month, Japan Airlines celebrates 40 years of 767 service. Their first 767, JA8232 (c/n 23213, l/n 118), a 767-246, was delivered in August 1985, and entered service in November 1985. It was one of three 767-246s. Japan Airlines also has 27 767-346ERs currently active in their fleet. The airline has one 767-346ER flight from NRT to HNL, JAL784/783.

Omni Air International's New England Patriots-liveried 767-323ER, N36NE (c/n 25193, l/n 388), is making a stop at HNL from PVD, as OAE3803.

Cargojet Airways' C-GXAJ (c/n 25196, l/n 422, f/n 639) is making a stop at HNL from YVR early this morning, as it transits from YHM to SYD. This 767-323ERF's stop at HNL is a brief one, and is flying as CJT3399.

Northern Air Cargo To End 767-300ERF Operations

Saltchuk announced that they will end their 767-300ERF operations in October 2025, as part of a streamlining of operations. This will affect Aloha Air Cargo, Northern Air Cargo, and Strat Air. Northern Air Cargo operates the 767-300ERFs for Aloha Air Cargo and Strat Air.

Northern Air Cargo said that they, and Aloha Air Cargo, will focus on their respective markets in Alaska and Hawai‘i, with 737 freighters.

Los Angeles Rams Team Charter

The NFL's Los Angeles Rams are conducting their mini-camp on Maui this week, and chartered two Omni Air International 767-300ERs to bring their players, coaches, and staff to OGG from LAX. N423AX (c/n 27569, l/n 601, f/n 423), a 767-324ER, arrived first at 14:30HST, as OAE3388. N351AX (c/n 27908, l/n 578, f/n 351), a 767-33AER, arrived second at 15:44HST, as OAE3367.


19 June 2025 UPDATE
The L.A. Rams are returning this afternoon to LAX. OAE3367 departed OGG at 13:15HST, and OAE3388 departed eight minutes later.

Omni Air International's N423AX (c/n 27569, l/n 609, f/n 423), their lone 767-324ER in a different livery, and without titles, is making a stop at HNL from HAN (via GUM) as OAE3327.

Aug 2002: Leased to North American Airlines as N767NA "Janice M".
Jun 2014: Leased to Omni Air International.
Apr 2015: Re-registered as N423AX.
Nov 2019: Sold to Cargo Aircraft Management, and the lease transferred.

N423AX departed for AFW this afternoon as OAE3327.

N367SP

Samaritan's Purse will soon be taking delivery of N367SP (c/n 33510, l/n 939). This 767-381ERF is being ferried by Elan Express from ASP to GYR, via CNS and OGG as ELX67. It will make an overnight stop at OGG tonight. This 767 will be repainted at GYR before being delivered to Samaritan's Purse, as the Christian-based relief organization expands its fleet.

Feb 2006: Delivered to All Nippon Airways as JA603F, as apart of ANA Cargo, under lease from Sojitz Aircraft Leasing.
Feb 2011: Leased to Express Freighters to operate for Qantas Freight as VH-EFR.
Feb 2014: Painted in the full Qantas Freight livery.
Aug 2022: Purchased by Express Freighters.
May 2024: Withdrawn from service, and stored at ASP.
Feb 2025: Acquired by Samaritan's Purse as N367SP.
