Philippine Airlines Orders 20 787-10s
Boeing and Philippine Airlines announced at the Farnborough Airshow today, that they have a memorandum of understanding for a firm order of 15 787-10 DreamLiners, along with an option for five more. This is part of Philippine Airlines' fleet modernization project, with deliveries scheduled to begin in 2031. These DreamLiners will replace the airline's 777-300ER fleet.

United Airlines' N91007
United Airlines' 787-10, N91007 (c/n 40929, l/n 548, f/n 1007) that was painted in their America 250 special livery a couple of weeks ago, is making a stop at HNL today as UAL219 from ORD. It will return to ORD as UAL218, later this afternoon.
40929's History:
May 2017: Used by Boeing as a 787-10 testbed, registered as N548ZC.
May 2019: Delivered to United Airlines as N91007.
Jun 2026: Painted in the America 250 special livery.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines' Boeing Order
Biman Bangladesh Airlines placed an order with Boeing for four 737-8s, two 787-9s and eight 787-10s. No delivery dates have been set for this 14-plane order. We are unsure if Biman Bangladesh will make their 737-8 delivery flights across the Pacific.

Korean Air Switches To The 777-300ER
Korean Air switched from their 787-10 to the 777-300ER today. HL7783 (c/n 37644, l/n 806), the SkyTeam-liveried 777-3B5ER made this morning's flight. This fleet change is scheduled to run the month of January.

Delta Air Lines Orders 30 787-10s
Boeing and Delta Air Lines announced today that the airline has placed a firm order for 30 787-10 DreamLiners, with an option for 30 more, as part of its fleet modernization. They will be powered by the GENx series of engines. According to a Delta Air Lines Instagram post, deliveries are expected to begin in 2031. This order is in addition to the 100 737-10s Delta placed in July 2022.

Alaska Airlines Places Large Order
Alaska Airlines announced today has placed an order for 105 737-10s and five 787-10s, their largest order in the airlines' history. They also have an option for an additional 35 737-10s. The airline can also adjust the 737MAX variants should they need to. The order for the five 787s are conversions of previously held options.

Hawaiian Airlines To Adjust 787 Order
Hawaiian Airlines, and the Alaska Air Group, has stated that five of the remaining 787-9s on order with Boeing, will be converted to the 787-10 variant.

All Nippon Airways' JA986A
All Nippon Airways is taking delivery of JA986A (c/n 67000, l/n 1242). This 787-10, flying as ANA9397, is making its delivery flight from CHS to HND, via VCV and HNL. It will make its overnight stop at HNL tonight.
This 787 was involved in a ground collision with a Breeze Airways A220-300, N247BZ (msn 55341), at CHS. JA986A's left wingtip sliced through the tail of N247BZ as the former taxied for departure on its delivery flight on 18 July 2025. After repairs, it started its delivery flight journey on 20 August, with a stop at VCV.

Korean Air Orders 103 Boeing Airliners
Boeing announced today that Korean Air has placed an order for 103 airliners. The order consists of: 50 737-10s, 8 777-8Fs, 20 777-9s, and 25 787-10s. Today's order is in addition to Korean Air's 50-plane order (20 777-9s and 20 787-10s, with an option for 10 more) placed this past March.

Dead Stowaway Found At OGG
A deceased stowaway was found in one of the main landing gear wells of a United Airlines 787-10 at OGG, after it arrived from ORD as UAL202 this afternoon. N12010 (c/n 40926, l/n 948, f/n 1010) made the flight today, when ground crews discovered the body.

Korean Air To Use 787-10s For Winter Season
According to an AeroRoutes.com report, Korean Air will use their 787-10s for their ICN-HNL service beginning 01 December 2024, for their northern winter season, in place of their 787-9s. Currently, the airline has only two 787-10s in service, and they have three undergoing production testing. They also have one 787-9 in the production test phase, with 13 in service.
Korean Air recently ended their 747-8i service to HNL, and currently employs 777-3B5ERs, with 787-9s slated to take over in October.

All Nippon Airways is taking delivery of JA982A (c/n 66996, l/n 1184). This 787-10, their second delivery this month, is making its delivery flight from CHS to HND, via LAX and HNL, as ANA9397. It left CHS yesterday, with an overnight stop at LAX, and will make a brief fuel stop here.

All Nippon Airways' JA983A
All Nippon Airways is taking delivery of JA983A (c/n 66997, l/n 1177) today. This 787-10, their second delivery in three days, is making its delivery flight from CHS to HND, via LAX and HNL, as ANA9397. It will make an overnight stop at HNL before continuing onto HND.
