Luftwaffe's 54+09
54+09 (msn 48), an A400M-180 from the Luftwaffe's Lufttransportgeschwader 62 (Air Transport Wing 62), is making a stop at HNL. It departed from ETNW [Wunstorf Air Base, Lower-Saxony, Germany] as GAF444, on 10 November, with stops at TER [Lajes Air Base International Airport, Terceira Island, Praia De Vitoria, Azores], CHS, and OAK. It's bound for OHA, via NAN, for an exercise with the New Zealand Defence Forces to join up with sister-ships 54+12 and 54+35.

A pair of A400M Atlas from the Luftwaffe's Lufttransportgeschwader 62 (Air Transport Wing 62), is making a stop at HIK. 54+12 (msn 059) and 54+35 (msn 105), departed from ETNW [Wunstorf Air Base, Lower-Saxony, Germany] as GAF101, on 30 October, with stops at TER [Lajes Air Base International Airport, Terceira Island, Praia De Vitoria, Azores], CHS, and OAK. They are bound for OHA, via NAN, for an exercise with the New Zealand Defence Forces.

Royal Air Force's ZM412
An Atlas C1 (A400M) from the Royal Air Force's No. 70 Squadron, No. 2 Group (Air Combat Support), based at BZZ, is making a stop at HIK. ZM412 (msn 042), flying as RRR4102, departed HLP on 17 October, with stops at DPS, XRH, CBR, and NAN.
24 October 2025 UPDATE
ZM412 departed HIK for SFO today. It will continue onto IAD and NHT, before returning to BZZ.

Luftwaffe Typhoons Extend Stay
After participating in the last week of RIMPAC 2024, the three Luftwaffe Eurofighter Typhoons from the Tactical Air Force Wing 73 (Taktisches Luftwaffengeschwader 73) "Steinhoff, and the two A400M Atlas from the Air Transport Wing 62 (Lufttransportgeschwader 62) will be extending their stay at HIK to fly with the F-22A Raptors of the Hawai‘i Air National Guard's 199th Fighter Squadron and US Air Force's 19th Fighter Squadron.

Luftwaffe Joins RIMPAC 2024
The Luftwaffe has sent a party of Eurofighter Typhoons and A400Ms to Hawaii to participate in RIMPAC 2024.
Three Typhoons from the Tactical Air Force Wing 73 (Taktisches Luftwaffengeschwader 73) "Steinhoff" arrived early Friday morning after completing a record-setting flight from Chitose, Japan. The flight would set the longest flight ever done by a Eurofighter, 10hrs 31min in the air with multiple mid-air refuelings supported by the air refueling contractor, Metrea. Two A400M Atlas from Air Transport Wing 62 (Lufttransportgeschwader 62) are accompanying the Typhoons, and are fitted with external refueling wing pods.
This comes as part of the tri-national exercise, "Pacific Skies". Air assets from Germany, France, and Spain would forward deploy to the Indo-Asia-Pacifc region and participate in joint training with local forces. Pacific Skies consists of, Artic Defender-Alaska, Nippon Skies-Japan, RIMPAC 24 (Germany only), Pitch Black-Australia and Trang Shakit 1-India.

Armée de l'Air et de l'Espace Flights To New Caledonia
With the riots occurring in the French territory of New Caledonia, the Armée de l'Air et de l'Espace (French Air and Space Force) is transporting over 1,000 Gendarme (French National Police) officers. A330-200s from 31e Escadre Aérienne de Ravitaillment et de Transport Stratégiques (31st Aerial Refuel and Strategic Transport Wing) have been making flights from France to NOU [La Tounta International Airport, Noumeá, New Caledonia], via YVR and HNL, for the past few days. A400Ms from 61e Escadre de Transport (61st Transport Squadron) are also making flights to Noumeá. Other flights have gone to BNE and WLS [Hihifo Airport, Wallis Island].

Mobility Guardian 2023
Aircraft, mostly transports, from foreign air forces are stopping through HNL as part of Mobility Guardian 2023, a multi-national air exercise being held at Andersen AFB, Guam.
Le Armée de l’Air has A330-200 MRTTs: F-UJCH (msn 1808, f/n 042) and F-UJCM (msn 1998, f/n 047); and A400M F-RBAR (msn 110, f/n 110).
The Royal Thai Air Force has a C-130J, 60112 (msn 5281).
The Royal Air Force has a C-17A: ZZ172 (c/n 50079, l/n F-78).

Armée de l'Air's F-RBAD
Armée de l'Air et de l'Espace's A400M-180, F-RBAD "Ville de Cambrai" (msn 011), is making a stop at HNL, as it transits from ORE to NOU, via YYT, NKX, HNL and PPT, as CTM2050. F-RBAD is assigned to 61e Escadre de Transport, of the Air Support and Projection Brigade, based at ORE.

F-RBAD is stopping off at HNL on its way back to ORE as CTM2050, and will continue onto SAN the next day.

Armée de L'Air's F-RBAQ
The Armée de L'Air's (French Air Force) F-RBAQ (msn 102) is making an overnight stop at HNL from TUS as CTM1542. This A400M-180 flight originated from ORE [Bricy Airport, Orleans, France], and is headed to PPT. It also made stops at YYT [St. John's International Airport, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada], and TUS [Tucson, AZ].

Royal Air Force's ZM405
A Royal Air Force Airbus A400M Atlas C1, ZM405 (msn 24), is making a stop at HIK from OKO [Yokota Air Base, Tokyo, Japan]. It's seen above departing from Runway 8R the next morning, and was headed eastbound.
