Flair Airlines' C-FLHI

Flair Airlines is ferrying C-FLHI "Bruce" (c/n 61804, l/n 7863, f/n 903) back to YYC from MCY, after the shutdown of sister-airline Bonza Airline in Australia. This 737-8, with a hybrid livery, is making a stop at HNL tonight as FLE903.

C-FLHI's History:

Jun 2021: Delivered to Flair Airlines, under lease from BOC.

Dec 2023: Sub-leased to Bonza Airline, and to be registered as VH-8AV, but retained the Canadian registration.

Mar 2024: Stored at MCY.

Bonza's C-FLKC

Bonza Airline is returning C-FLKC (c/n 61807, l/n 7802, f/n 906) to sister-airline Flair Airlines. This 737-8 is returning to YYC from OOL, with a stop at HNL, as FLE906.

C-FLKC stopped through HNL this past November on its way to OOL.

Bonza's C-FLHI

Bonza Airline is wet-leasing a second Flair Airlines 737-8. C-FLHI (c/n 61804, l/n 7683, f/n 903) is ferrying from YYC to OOL, via HNL and NAN, as FLE903. It will make a brief fuel-stop at HNL.

C-FLHI's History:

Jun 2021: Delivered to Flair Airlines, under lease from BOC Aviation.

Dec 2023: Subleased to Bonza Airline.

Bonza's C-FLKC

Bonza Airline is wet-leasing C-FLKC (c/n 61807, l/n 7802, f/n 906) from Flair Airlines, and is wearing a hybrid livery. This 737-8 is making its ferry flight from YYC to OOL, with brief fuel stops at HNL and NAN, as FLE906.

In August, CH-Aviation reported that the two carriers will have a seasonal reciprocating wet-lease program in place, where one airline will send aircraft to the other during slow periods. Both Bonza and Flair have 777 Partners as major financial partners.

C-FLKC's History:

Jun 2021: Delivered to Flair Airlines, under lease from BOC.

Nov 2023: Subleased to Bonza Airline.

Bonza's VH-UKH

Bonza Airline is taking delivery of their fourth 737-8, VH-UKH (c/n 61884, l/n 7773) today. It's making its delivery flight from BFI to MCY [Maroochydore / Sunshine Coast, Marcoola, Queensland, Australia] (via HNL and NAN) as BNZ4, and will overnight at HNL. This 737-8 was originally bound for LOT Polish Airlines as SP-LVP, under lease from SMBC, but was not taken up.

Bonza Airline's VH-UIK

Bonza Airline is taking delivery of their second 737-8, VH-UIK (c/n 43975, l/n 7516) today. It's flying from YYC to MEL, via HNL and NAN, as BNZ2. VH-UIK had been ferried to YYC from BFI on September 29th for cabin modifications as BNZ2. This 737-8 still has the LOT Polish Airline logo and colors on the upper half of its winglets, as it would have been SP-LVH.

Bonza's VH-UJT

Australia's new start-up airline, Bonza, is taking delivery of their first 737-8, VH-UJT "Shazza" (c/n 62533, l/n 7722), leased from SMBC. It's making its delivery flight from BFI to MEL, via HNL and NAN, as AB1. This 737-8, built in September 2019, was to be leased to LOT Polish Airlines as SP-LVO, but not taken up. Four more LOT 737-8 NTUs are being readied for delivery to Bonza.
